Two Dead, Four Fled: Navajo Nation Police officers from Crownpoint
inspect a pickup truck that rolled and killed two occupants on Cousins
Brother Road off of Highway 602 Monday afternoon. Officers believe there
were six people in the vehicle at the time of the crash and the other
four fled the scene. The officers believe alcohol and wreckless driving

Railroad Repairs: Employees
of BNSF Railroads remove and replace gravel around new concrete railroad
ties in Gallup on Monday afternoon. The work by BNSF forced the closure
of Second and Third streets, which increased traffic flow over the
already stressed Munoz Overpass. A railway employee said the work
should be completed by Wednesday night. The crews will then move on
