Damon Edison
PINEDALE — Funeral services for Damon Roy Edison, 16, will
be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Cope Memorial Chapel. Robert
and Beverly Arviso will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial
Park, Gallup.
Edison died Jan. 15, 2009, in Sawmill. He was born March 4, 1992,
in Fort Defiance, into the Water Edge People Clan for the Zuni
People Clan.
Edison attended Pinedale Headstart, Mariano Lake Community School,
Churchrock Elementary, Wingate Elementary, and St. Michael’s
Special Education. He enjoyed basketball, track, football, riding
bikes, helping relatives, listening to music and being around
family members.
Survivors include his mother, Annie Rose Edison of Pinedale;
brothers, Boyd Shermy Edison Jr., Irvin Ray Edison of Pinedale;
sisters, Tifhanie Edison of Texas, Roshaunda Edison of Gallup,
Stephanie Blake of Arizona; grandparents, Dan and Sarah Van Winkle
of Spider Rock.
Edison was preceded in death by his father, Richard Edison; grandparents,
Thomas and Annie Taliwood Edison.
Pallbearers will be Boyd Edison Jr., Irvin Ray Edison, Larry
John, Nate Edison, Reynolds Edison, Jimmy Woody.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Pinedale Chapter,
following services.

PAGUATE, N.M. — Services are pending for David A. Lorenzo,
84.
Lorenzo died Jan. 19, 2009, in Albuquerque. He was born Nov.
