Kevin Collins

PHOENIX — Services for Kevin “Chip” Collins, 47, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. Burial will be in family plot, Iyanbito.

Collins died Feb. 23, 2009, in Phoenix. He was born Jan. 31, 1962.

Survivors include his children, Kevanda Collins Alexander, Devin Collins, Myron Collins, Myra Collins, Amber Watson; siblings, Richard Collins, Wilma Adams, Wilma Jean Nelson, Wayne Collins, Williams Collins III, Forrest Collins, Marlene Collins Pioche, Walter Collins, Marvin Collins, Laura Giroux; five grandchildren.

Collins was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Collins and William Collins.

Mary Mariano

THOREAU — Services are pending for Mary L. Mariano, 83.

Mariano died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, in Albuquerque. She was born April 6, 1925, in Thoreau, into the Two Who Came to Water People Clan for the Black Streak of Forest People Clan.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
