Music, Not Stories: ABOVE: Paul Cayantineto gestures while

right, at the Gallup Performing Arts Center. The time was originally
intended to be for Navajo book reading and music. Because of sparse
attendance, they two musicians entertained with songs in Navajo
and Spanish, after Cayantineto and three others from DSI came in
asking to find the music. For the remaining two Tuesdays of July,
the Navajo book reading and music will be offered from 1 p.m.- 2
p.m. at the GPAC at 1500 S 2nd St. free of charge. The program attempts
to promote appreciation and experience of culture. BELOW: Anthony
