Kee Curley Jr.

TOH-LA-KAI — Funeral services for Kee “Goodie” Thomas Curley Jr., 41, will be 10 a.m., June 25, at the Free Trinity Church, Toh-la-kai. The Rev. Dennis Gardner will officiate. Viewing will be 3 p.m., today, June 24, at the Riverside Funeral Home, Albuquerque.

Curley died June 20, 2008, in Albuquerque. He was born April 2, 1967, in Ganado, into the Blacksheep People Clan for the Jemez Pass People Clan.

Curley attended Gallup High School. He was employed as a landscaper, a roofer and carpenter by trade. His hobbies included, cook outs, silver smithing, painting and pottery.  
Survivors include his wife, Bernadette Curley of Albuquerque; son, Lyle Curley; daughter, Adonica Curley of Gallup; father, Kee Thomas Curley Sr. of Ganado; mother, Irene Bryant of Albuquerque; brothers, Wayne Yazza, Brian Curley, both of Albuquerque; sisters, Eileen Johnson, Sandra Gardner, both of Albuquerque.  

Curley was proceeded in death by his brother, Donald Yazza.  

Pallbearers will be Erwin Curley, Donald Robinson, Lyne Curley, Lyle Curley, Micheal Lucero, Brian, Curley.    
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Twin Lakes Chapter House, following services.

Thomas Notah Jr.

ALBUQUERQUE — Funeral Mass for Thomas “Tom” R. Notah Jr., 53, will be 10 a.m. June 25, at the St. Michaels Catholic Mission, St. Michaels. The Rev. Gilbert Schneider, OFM, will officiate. Burial will be on private family land, St. Michaels. Visitation will be 9 a.m., one hour prior to services. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m., tonight, June 24, at the St. Michaels Mission.

Notah died June 22, 2008, in Fort Defiance. He was born March 22, 1956, in Fort Defiance, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Red Streak on the Forehead People Clan.

Notah graduated from Window Rock High School in 1973. He attended Eastern Arizona College, Mesa Community College, and Eastern N.M. University. Among the jobs he had were, working in accounting at hotels, Circle K, Phoenix Area Indian Health Service, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Phoenix.

Survivors include his father, Thomas R. Notah Sr. of St. Michaels; brothers, Ferdinand Notah of Tempe, Emerson Notah of St. Michaels, Timothy Notah of Tempe, Ed Notah of St. Michaels; sisters, Jenny Notah of St. Michaels, Gloria Tom of St. Michaels, Sharon Notah-White of Albuquerque.
Notah was preceded in death by his mother, Alice W. Notah; sisters, Louella Notah, Brenda Notah; grandparents, John and Onebah Watchman, Mildred and Tay Notah.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert White, Jimmy Tom, Ed Notah, Timothy Notah, Emerson Notah, Ferdinand Notah.
The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Michaels Mission Hall, following services.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
