Minnie Chester
GREASEWOOD SPRINGS, Ariz. Funeral services
for Minnie Etsitty Chester, 91, will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug.
7, at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Greasewood Springs.
Chester died Aug. 4, 2008. She was born November
16, 1916, in Flagstaff.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Chester of
Greasewood Springs; daughters, Winnifred C. Peters of Window Rock,
Marie L. Freddie of Dilcon, Evangeline Chester of Phoenix, Blanche
Chester of Flagstaff; sons, Harold Chester of Greasewood Springs,
Len Chester of Greasewood Springs; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren;
two great-great-grandchildren.
Chester was preceded in death by one grandson;
one granddaughter.

Michael Martinez
KINLICHEE Gravesite services for Michael
Joe Martinez, 51, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Community
Cemetery, Kinlichee. Brother John Hotstream will officiate. Burial
will be in Community Cemetery, Kinlichee.
Martinez died Aug. 1, 2008, in Kinlichee. He
was born Oct. 19, 1956, in Fort Defiance.
Martinez had a B.S. in Social Work from ASU.
He worked at the Apache County and various Navajo Tribal agencies.
His hobbies included reading, movies and music.
Martinez was preceded in death by his parents,
Jose and Helen; sisters, Helena, Priscilla, Delores; brother,
Joseph.
Pallbearers will be Don Jackson, Clyde Martinez,
Rianna Jackson, Aaron Nez, Ryan Allison, Melton Mannie.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
