James Aubrey
YAKIMA, Wash. Funeral services
for James Manning Aubrey, 60, will be 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug.
16, at the St. Alphansus Church, Seattle, Wash. Father Johnson
will officiate. Burial will be in Holyrood Cemetery, Seattle,
Wash. Visitation will be at Hoffner, Fisher and Harvey.
Aubrey died Aug. 7, 2008, in Albuquerque.
He was born Aug. 23, 1947, in Shelby, Mont.
Aubrey had a bachelors degree from the
University of Washington. He was a project manager for the last
40 years. Aubrey was a Blackfeet Indian, a member of Veterans
of Foreign Wars, a Vietnam Vet and got a purple heart. He was
in the Navy as an E-5. His hobbies were golf, baseball, and football.
He was a sports enthusiast.
Survivors include his son, Jonathan Patrick
Aubrey; daughters, Jennifer Lynn Camp, Kimberley Ann Aubrey, Julie
Marie Jean Aubrey; brothers, William Aubrey, Jack Aubrey; four
grandchildren.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his father,
Harvey Hi Aubrey; mother, Evelyn Jean Brown; step-father,
Jack Brown.
Pallbearers will be William Aubrey, Jack
Aubrey, Henry Arnoux, Jonathon Aubrey, Andrew Buck
Worker, Howard Small.
The family will receive relatives and
friends at the Small residence, Arlington, Wash. The family will
meet at Holyrood Cemetery.
Local memorial services will be announced
at a later date.
Amelia Delgarito
PINE HILL Funeral services for
Amelia Delgarito, 93, will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13, at
the Pine Hill Church of God (Holiness). Eugene Cody Sr. will officiate.
Burial will be in family plot, Pine Hill.
Delgarito died Aug. 9, 2008, in Albuquerque.
She was born June 16, 1915, in Ramah, into the Apache People Clan
for the Tangle People Clan.
Delgarito was a homemaker and loved being
with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Rose M. Garcia,
Lucy M. Garcia, Daisy M. Garcia, all of Pine Hill; sisters, Rose
Bob of Pine Hill, Annie Chatto of Ramah, Marie Sage of Phoenix;
14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
Delgarito was preceded in death by her
father, George Beaver; mother, Asdzahi Shinley; daughter, Grace
H. Coho; sons, Leo Martinez, Alfred Martinez.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Ruth Edsitty
MANY FARMS Services for Ruth Begay
Edsitty, 84, will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the Potter
House, Chinle. The Rev. Artie Aragon will officiate. Burial will
be in Community Cemetery, Chinle.
Edsitty died Aug. 9, 2008, in Phoenix.
She was born May 12, 1924, in Many Farms, into the Tangle People
Clan for the Red Running into the Water People Clan.
Edsitty was in a five year program. She
enjoyed weaving and was a farm worker. Edsitty was a loving grandmother.
Survivors include her brothers, Harold Begay of Round Rock, Denny
Ray Begay of Many Farms; sisters, Grace Chee Bill, Zonnie Descheenie,
Lucy Yazzie, all of Many Farms, Evangela Jones of Chinle; four
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Edsitty was preceded in death by her son,
Oscar Whitehair Jr.; husband, Jimmy Edsitty.
Pallbearers will be Donny R. Begay, Daniel
Benally, Joe Benally, Curtis Yazzie, Gabriel Taylor, and Gilford
Taylor.
The family will receive relatives and
friends 7 and 1/2 miles east of Many Farms.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of
arrangements.
Emilio Robles
GALLUP Funeral Mass for Emilio
Robles, 74, will be 10:30 a.m., Aug. 13, at the Little Sisters
of the Poor. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Gallup.
A rosary will be recited 9 a.m., Aug. 13, at Little Sisters of
the Poor.
Robles died Aug. 7, 2008, in Gallup He was born Aug. 5, 1934,
in Mentmore.
Robles enjoyed working at the Flea Market.
He was a shoe shiner and enjoyed being with his family and liked
to dance.
Survivors include his daughter, Diana Robles James; brother, John
J. Robles; sisters, Lupe Robles, Jessie Mendoza, Marcelina Mendoza.
Robles was preceded in death by Eddie
Radar Lopez, Jimmy Robles James; father, Felipe Robles;
mother, Maria C. Sarmiranto.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Lopez, Rudy
Lopez, Johnathan Gutierrez, Theodore Saucedo, Christopher Saucedo,
and Levi Saucedo.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Della Watson
VANDERWAGON Funeral services for
Della Mae Watson, 60, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 14, at Sacred
Heart Cathedral, Gallup. Lawrence OKeefe will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Gallup. Visitation
and a rosary will be recited at Rollie Mortuary.
Watson died Aug. 8, 2008, in Albuquerque.
She was born April 11, 1948, in Pretty Rock, N.M., into the Folded
Arms People Clan for the Bitter Water People Clan.
Watson graduated from Wingate High School.
She attended college in San Francisco for a year. She was employed
at Gallup Indian Medical Center working as a dietary supervisor.
Watson retired and completed 30 years of service in which she
was awarded for her excellence in customer service, teamwork,
and years of service. Her hobbies included cooking delicious food,
baking, and stringing fetish necklaces.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Watson;
sons, Felipe Toledo, Troy Watson; daughter, Vivian Watson; mother,
Marion Toledo; brother, Preston Toledo; sisters, Laura Toledo,
Zonnia Sanchez; five grandchildren.
Watson was preceded in death by Preston
Toledo, Noel K. Toledo, Vada Watson.
Pallbearers will be Troy Watson, Steve
Landavazo, Orlando Kanawite, Jarvis Kanaawite, Doyle Owens, Darrell
Owens.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Red Rock Chapter
House, at 1 p.m., following services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Harrison Wilson
LITTLE WATER Service are pending
for Harrison Kee Wilson, 41.
Wilson died Aug. 9, 2008, in Smith Lake.
He was born March 25, 1967, in Phoenix.
A family gathering will be 6:30 p.m.,
tonight, Aug. 12, at the Smith Lake Chapter.
