THOREAU — Services are pending for Marie Shirley Saunders, 54.

Saunders died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, in Gallup. She was born Nov. 9, 1953, in Fort Defiance, into the Two Who Came To Water People Clan for the Water Flows Together People Clan.

Ronald Southerland

TOHATCHI — Services are pending for Ronald Southerland, 74.

Southerland died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, in Albuquerque. He was born Feb. 26, 1934, in Hartford, Conn.

Southerland was the husband of Margaret Clark of Tohatchi.

A gathering for friends and family will be 5 p.m., Aug. 30, at the Tohatchi Chapter House.
