Affordable Housing
GALLUP Habitat for Humanity of Gallup
seeks to build decent, affordable housing in partnership with
families in need in McKinley County. We are now accepting applications
for our next house, which will be built on Gallups North
side. If you are a low income family, currently living in a substandard
or overcrowded housing, and have lived or worked within 75 miles
of Gallup for the past year, you may be eligible. To find out

be available at the following informational meeting, 6:30 p.m.,
Sept. 4, at the Indian Hills Elementary School, 3604 Ciniza Dr.
Office Closure

Counselor Visit
FLAGSTAFF Veterans Benefits Counselor
visit will be 8:30-11:30 a.m., at the Fort Defiance Navajo Nation
Veterans Office and 1-3:30 p.m., at the Houck Chapter House, on
Sept. 4. The counselor will help veterans and their dependents
with information about veterans benefits and assistance
in filing claims. The claimant should bring information pertaining
to the subject of the visit especially all VA correspondences,
DD-214, medical records, marriage license, divorce decree, death
certificate, birth certificates, all income award letters, medical
expenses, s.s. cards, etc.
