Counselor Visit

FLAGSTAFF — Veterans Benefits Counselor visit will be 9-11:30 a.m., at the Ganado Chapter House and 1-3:30 p.m., at the Dilkon Chapter House, on Sept. 5. The counselor will help veterans and their dependents with information about veteran’s benefits and assistance in filing claims. The claimant should bring information pertaining to the subject of the visit especially all VA correspondences, DD-214, medical records, marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate, birth certificates, all income award letters, medical expenses, s.s. cards, etc.

Bus Tour

GALLUP — The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) is sponsoring a nationwide bus tour with the goal of building a grassroots movement united in its mission to make cancer a top national priority. The effort represents the largest grassroots mobilization campaign ever waged on the issue of cancer. For more info about the bus, including a schedule of stops, please visit www.acscan.org/bus. Tentative Dates: Monday, Sept. 15; stop 1, Albuquerque; stop 2, Laguna, 12-12:45 p.m.; stop 3, Gallup. Help us bring the bus to New Mexico, 1.
