Rene Chavez
MILAN — Funeral
Mass for Rene A. Chavez, 28, will be 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 8,
at the St. Vivian’s Catholic Church, MIlan. Burial will be
in Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate.
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 7, at Compassion
Mortuary.
Chavez died Sept. 4, 2008, in Milan. He was born March 13, 1980,
in Grants.
Chavez was a graduate
of Grants High School and was employed by C&E Concrete in
Grants.
Survivors include his parents, mother, Lorena Monge of Phoenix,
Rene M. Chavez of Milan, stepmother, Crystal Marez of Milan; daughter,
Adriana Chavez of Milan; sisters, Maria Vasquez of Mesa, Patricia
Gutierrez of Juarez,Mexico, Nivia Chavez of Phoenix, Alejandra
Chavez of Mesa; brother, Jaime Ochoa of Mesa, Roberto Chavez of
Milan.
Pallbearers will be Roberto
Chavez, Alfonso Lopez Jr., Michael Lopez Jr., Joe Lopez, Enrique
Rodriguez, Isaac Galindo, Alfonso Lopez Sr., Michael Lopez Sr.

Henry Curley Jr.
GANADO — Funeral
services for Henry Kee Curley Jr., 76, was 10 a.m., Wednesday,
Sept. 3, at the Presbyterian Church, Ganado. The Rev. Ozark Leap
will officiate. Burial will be in family land, Ganado.
Curley died Aug. 29,
2008, in Albuquerque. He was born July 16, 1932, in Ganado.
Curley was a veteran
of the Korean War.
Survivors include his
children, Harold Abe Wauneka, Rose J. Primeaux, Carmelita Curley,
Susie Chee, Clifford Curley, Chris Curley, Mark Curley, Annette
Curley Bradley, Stella Curley Leap; mother, Myrtle McCabe Curley;
21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerald
Chee, Chris Curley, Clifford Curley, Dominic Curley, Farrow Belone.
Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Vincent Pena
GRANTS — Services are pending for Vincent
Pena, 38.
Pena died Sept. 5, 2008, in Grants. He was born
Aug. 21, 1970, in Springerville, Ariz.

Roanhorse, 16.
Roanhorse died Sept. 4, 2008, in Tunnel Springs.
He was born Dec. 6, 1991, in Fort Defiance.

Corner) in Fort Defiance, 6 p.m., tonight.
