GALLUP — Two men are being held on $50,000 cash bail, each, after a drug bust Thursday that found them in possession of more than a dozen individually-packaged containers of methamphatamines better known on the street as crystal meth or ice.

In addition to possession with intent to traffic, a second-degree felony, brothers Abel Ramirez, 29, and Joseph Ramirez, 41, are charged with possession of cocaine, paraphernalia and less than 1 ounce of marijuana, according to Region One Drug Task Force spokesman George Justice. The older brother, Joseph, faces additional charges including resisting, evading or obstructing a law enforcement officer and driving with a suspended license.

Both men were arrested on warrant inside Chiquita Trailer Park, at 211 S. Florence St., Apt. 8, according to Justice.
A look at court records for both brothers reveal a long history of distribution and trafficking charges.
