WIDE RUINS, Ariz. Services for
Donald James Lee, 73, will be today, March 31, 2008 at St. Anns
Catholic Church in Wide Ruins. Burial will follow at the famly
plot in Wide Ruins.
Lee died March 27, 2008 in Gallup. He
was born Dec. 14, 1934 in Wide Ruins into the Edge Water People
Clan for the Honeycombed Rock People Clan.
Lee graduated from high school and then
attended San Jose University and lived in San Jose, Calif., from
1960s to 1975, He was an original member of the Native American
Church there. He was a welder and was last employed by the Navajo
Nation. He was in The U.S. Army from 1953-1961 and served in the
Korean War. His favorite hobbies were bingo and boxing.
Survivors include his sons Floyd Lee, Reuben Lee, Daryl Lee; daughters
Charlene Lee, Dorothy Mitchell; brothers Roy Lee Sr.; sister Mary
Kee, 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by his wife
Charlotte Lee; mother Geebah Lee; sisters Sadie Footracer, Monica
Damon; brothers David Lee, Austin Lee, Sr., Peter Lee, John Tom
Lee, Tom Billy Lee.
Pallbearers will be Craig Lee, Jerome Lee, Carlton Nez, Randall
Nez, Adam Mitchell, Floyd Lee, Rueben Lee, Darryl Lee and Kristopher
Lee.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Wide Ruins
Chapter House, following services.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Lincoln, Duane
SPENCER VALLEY, N.M. Services for
Duane Eddy Lincoln, 45, will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 1 at
Rollie Mortuary. Burial will follow at Gallup City Cemetery.
Lincoln died March 26, 2008 in Gallup.
He was born May 21, 1962 in Blackrock, N.M., into the Red Running
Into the Water People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.
Lincoln attended Wingate schools and St.
Francis School. His hobbies included hunting, traveling and being
with friends and family and he liked silversmithing.
Survivors include his wife Grace Spencer
Smith of Spencer Valley parents Dennis Lincoln Sr., of Breadsprings,
Alice M. Lincoln of Gallup; daughters Kimberly Ann Lincoln, Amber
Ashlie Lincoln, both of Spencer Valley; sons Eric Eddy Lincoln,
Aaron Eddy Lincoln, both of Spencer Valley; sisters Judith Marie
Dixon, Jacqueline Marie Lincoln, both of Breadsprings; stepson
Alexander Smith of Spencer Valley.
He was preceded in death by his brother
Vincent Lincoln.

Martinez, Juanita
TEMPE, Ariz. Services for Juanita Marietta
Martinez, 44, will be at 10 a.m., today, March 31, 2008 at Black
Mountain Mission. Fr. Blane Grien, OFM, will officiate. Burial
will follow at the Black Mountain Cemetery.
Martinez died March 2, 2008 in Joseph City,
Ariz. He was born Aug. 3, 1963 into the Tangle People Clan for
the Coyote Pass People Clan.
Martinez worked for NTUA in Chinle and Wells Fargo in Tempe. She
received her AA degree from Navajo Community College in Tsaile
and also went to school at Fort Collins University in Fort Collins,
Colo.
Survivors include her son Drew Martinez of Tempe;
daughter Victoria Martinez of Tempe; mother Susie Begay of Black
Mountain; brother Larry Gene Begay of Black Mountain; sisters
Genevieve Begay of Cottonwood, Ariz., Julie Begay Sandoval, Bernita
Begay, both of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her husband Uhl
Martinez; father Eugene Begay; sister Virginia Begay and one sister
Louise McCurtain.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Tso, LeManual James,
John Carley, Stephen Burbank, Drew Martinez and Larry G. Begay.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Black Mountain Mission following services.

Morgan, Julia
BLUE GAP/TACHEE, Ariz. Services
for Julia Ann Morgan, 50, will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 1,
2008 at Rollie Mortuary Chapel in Gallup. Burial will follow at
Sunset Memorial Park in Gallup.
Morgan died March `28, 2008 in Albuquerque.
She was born Sept. 14, 1957 in Ganado, Ariz. into the One Who
Walks Around People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.
Morgan was a 1976 graduate of Sanders
High School and a 1986 graduate of Gateway Community College in
Phoenix. She was employed 20 years as a long-term care nurse at
facilities in Arizona and New Mexico. She enjoyed reading, crocheting,
traveling, watching the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with
family and friends.
Survivors include her daughters Janelle
M. Auld of Lake Tahoe, Calif., Quintina R. Morgan of Albuquerque,
Anjelica V. Morgan of Blue Gap/Tachee; parents Kee Wilson Begay,
Nelly Begay, Mary Ann Benally, all of Blue Gap/Tachee; brothers
Arthur Begay Delta of Utah, Walter Begay Dilkon of Ariz.; Earl
Begay Cornfields of Ariz., Benjamin Begay of Phoenix and Timothy
Begay of Salt Lake City; sisters Renee Bedonie of Phoenix and
one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband
Roland L. Morgan; parents Nelly Begay, Kee Wilson Begay; grandparents
Alice Benally and Neschilly Benally.
Pallbearers will be Walter Begay, Earl Begay, Timothy Begay, Arthur
Begay, Wyatt Begay and Herbert Benally.
The family will receive relatives and
friends at Sacred Heart Cathedral Family Center in Gallup following
services.
