Becenti, Regina
NASCHITTI Services for Regina H. Becenti,
69, will be 10 a.m. May 23, at the Rollie Mortuary. Burial will
be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallup.
Becenti died May 20, 2008, in Albuquerque. She was born Nov. 14,
1938, in Rehoboth, into the Naxaani People Clan for the Waters
Edge People Clan.
Becenti attended Sherman Institute, Riverside,
Calif. She worked at E.L. Gruber, Glendale, Ariz., for 18 years,
Twin Lakes Rehabilitation Program for 6 years, Running Bear and
Thunderbird Indian Jewelry for 10 years, Naschitti Elementary
School for 4 years, accomplished/published silversmith.
Survivors include her sons, Calvin Becenti,
Jackson Wayne Becenti, both of Twin Lakes; daughters, Jenny Becenti
of Naschitti, Betsy Julia Mitchell of Window Rock; brother, Richard
Hoskie of Naschitti; sisters, Lora Gabah Amos of Dallas, Texas.,
Larissa Tommy of Twin Lakes, Rita Dolly Ward of Las Vegas, Nev.,
Elizabeth Jackson of N.C.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Becenti was preceded in death by John Hoskie,
Grace Chischilly, James Tom Hoskie, Caroline Hoskie, Ernest Hoskie,
Ruth Thomas.
Pallbearers will be family members.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Regina Becentis
family residence, following services.

Blaisdell died May 21, 2008, in Grants. He was
born June 6, 1931, in Cortez, Colo.
Blaisdell was a retired Uranium Miner and a
member of the Temple of Peace.

Smith died May 20, 2008, in Albuquerque. She
was born July 11, 1966.
Smith was employed with the Womens State
Prison in Grants at the time of her death.

TOHLAKAI Funeral services for Mary A.
Tso, 61, will be 10 a.m. May 23, at the Good Shepherd Mission,
Fort Defiance. Rev. Richard Stevens will officiate. Burial will
be in Fort Defiance Community Cemetery. Visitation will be at
9 a.m.
Tso died May 19, 2008, in Gallup. She was born
Jan. 26, 1947, in Fort Defiance, into the Salt People Clan for
the Towering House People Clan.
Tso worked at Little Bears, Earls Restaurant, Chili
Factory, and Furrs. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles,
using the computer, going to bingo and the casino, spending time
with family and friends. Tso also liked playing softball.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry M. Tso
Sr. of Tohlakai; sons, Jerry M. Tso Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah,
Terry M. Tso of Fort Defiance, Perry M .Tso of Salt Lake City,
Utah; daughters, Sherry A. Tso of Gallup; step-daughters, Margie
A. Tso of Tohlakai, Margaret A. Tso of Gallup; brothers, Charley
Watchman, Eernest Watchman, Milton Watchman, Cornell Watchman,
Steven Cleveland, all of Fort Defiance; sisters, Helen Tso, Charlene
Benally, both of Window Rock, Betty Morgan, Darlene Watchman,
Ann Mariie Watchman, LouAnn Watchman, all of Fort Defiance; 14
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Tso was preceded in death by her parents, Snell
Watchman, Dollie C. James; daughter, Geraldine A. Tso; brothers,
Wilford Watchman, Nelson Watchman, Herman Watchman, Bernell Watchman.
Pallbearers will be Terry Tso, Perry Tso, Harry
Tso Jr., Bcent Charley, Perry Lewise, Dewanye Morgan.

Trujillo died May 21, 2008, in Grants. She was
born May 30, 1915, in Villanueva, N.M.
Trujillo was retired from the Presbyterian Hospital
in Albuquerque, as a Dietician.
Survivors include her children, Patrica Pat
Roberts of Bluewater, Corrine Adams of Mesa, Ariz., Frank Trujillo
of Albuquerque, Daniel Trujillo of Albuquerque, Rosemary Apodaca
of Albuquerque, Esther Vasquez of Post Falls, ID., Joann Trujillo
of Denver,; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Trujillo was preceded in death by her husband,
Ephraim Trujillo; parents, Antonio Garcia, Petrita Garcia; sisters,
Rita Quintana, Carmen Lucero, Tonita Gallegos, Fedilia Gallegos;
brothers, Antonio Garcia, Eperion Garcia.
Pallbearers will be Tiger Gallegos, Buddy Roberts,
Jason Vasquez, Terance Gallegos, Lance Rochlitz and DJ Garcia.

Wilson, Jerry
DEL MUERTO, Ariz. Funeral services for Jerry Bronco
Wilson, 51, will be 1 p.m. May 23, at the Presbyterian Church,
Del Muerto, Ariz. Henry Charlie will officiate. Burial will be
in Community Cemetery, Del Muerto.
Wilson died May 18, 2008, in Chinle. He was born Feb. 17, 1957,
in Ganado, into the Charcoal Streaked Division of the Red Running
Into the Water People Clan for the Salt People Clan.
Wilson attended Chinle Boarding School, Chinle Jr. High, Chinle
High School and graduated in 1975. He worked with Wildland as
a firefighter, a tour guide with National Park Service, assisted
with the reconstruction of Hurricane Wilma damage, Everglade National
Park in Flordia. Wilson was in a documentary for Arizona Highway
Magazine in 1981. He played a Native Indian in
The Return of Geronimo the movie. and played in a
documentary Indian of the Southwest. Wilson loved
to read books, cook, and spend time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Jerome, Jerin, Jerwayne Wilson, Matthew
McCabe; brothers, Karl William Wilson, Herbert Wilson, David Wilson
Sr., Herman Wilson, Acey Wilson, William Wilson Jr.; sisters,
Ellen Martin, Martha Yazzie; two grandchildren.
Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ason
Y. Wilson Sr.; brother, Caleb C. Wilson.
Pallbearers will be George Yazzie, Adrian Yazzie, Anthony Yazzie,
Ben Bahe Jr., Davidson Wilson, Williamson Wilson.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Presbyterian
Church Fellowship Hall, Del Muerto, following services.
