Quadrathlon
GRANTS Mt. Taylor Quadrathlon is requesting
design art for the 26th Quadrathlon T-shirt Contest. T-shirt design
art may have 2-4 colors, and must be delivered in an electronic
PDF or GIF format. First place will receive $250 for designing
2009 Mt. Taylor Quadrathlon T-shirt. Mail entries to Mt. Taylor
Quadrathlon, P.O. Box 85, Grants, New Mexico 87020 or email entries
to tfletchern@msn.com. Entries must be received by June 6.
Addiction Recovery Classes
GANADO Free addiction recovery classes
patterned after the 12 step AA program for addiction recovery
are being offered weekly in Ganado at the LDS Church next to Hubbell
Trading Post. Two classes are held each Tuesday, one at 10 a.m.
and another onian gospel principles and participation in confidential.
Adult family members and friends affected by alcohol and drug
addictions in their loved ones, are also invited to attend. No
children please. There is no charge for the class, other than
$3 for the workbook. Call Elder Wilcox at 755-3999 for more info.
