Junior Lee

IYANBITO — Services for Junior H. Lee, 38, will be 10 a.m., April 2, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. Burial will be in Rehoboth.

Lee died March 29, 2009, in Iyanbito. He was born Aug. 19, 1970, in Gallup, into the Two Who Came to the Water People Clan for the Beneath the Mountain Cove People Clan.

Lee graduated from Gallup High School. He was a heavy equipment operator and a former member of the U.S.T.R.C., as a team roper. He enjoyed being with family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Jerome Lee; mother, Betty Lee; brothers, Albert Ration of Farmington, Larry Lee of Ramah, Harry Lee of Yahtahey, Harold Lee of Iyanbito; sisters, Grace Yazzie of Vanderwagon, Selma Chee of Iyanbito, Mitzi Begay of Gallup, Janice Tom of Jamestown, Lavern Lee of Gallup, Lorena Cooper of Albuquerque; grandparents, Irene Brown, Jimmy and Ellen Saunders.

Lee was preceded in death by Harry Lee Sr. and Harrison Lee.

Pallbearers will be Jason Yazzie, Roger Lee Sr., Harold Lee, Harry Lee Jr., Brian Charley, and Willie Antonio.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Iyanbito, 5 p.m., April 1.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Gary Lohkamp

GALLUP — Memorial services for Gary Robert Lohkamp, 66, will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 3, at First Baptist Church, Gallup. Jim Bostic will officiate.

Lohkamp died March 29, 2009, in Gallup. He was born May 27, 1942, in Portland.

Lohkamp got his BA from Reeds College, Portland, Or. He worked with Sacred Wind Telecommunication Inc. for 3 years., Palace National Communications Inc. for 8 years, and spent 40 years as a Telecommunications Engineer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and liked to deep sea fish.

Survivors include his wife, Marina Lohkamp of Gallup; sons, Gary LohKamp Jr. of Portland, Or., Joseph Lohkamp of Gallup; daughter, Nicole Lohkamp of Gallup; brother, Eddie Lohkamp of Portland, Or.; sisters, Cheryl Knight of Portland, Or., Lea Lohkamp of Portland, Or.; one grandchild.

Lohkamp was preceded in death by his mother, Della Lohkamp and father, Edward Lohkamp.

The family will receive relatives and friends at 2 p.m., April 3, at First Baptist Church, Gallup.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
