Patrick Anderson

TSAILE — Funeral services for Patrick Nelson Anderson, 39, will be 10 a.m., April 4, at Rollie Mortuary. The Rev. Bobby Boyd will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.

Anderson died April 1, 2009, in Tsaile. He was born July 13, 1969, in Gallup, into the Coyote Pass People Clan for the Red Flowing into the Water People Clan.

Anderson graduated from Window Rock High School in 1987, PPEP Tech in 1993, with a certificate in Data Processing, and Dine College in 2005, with an Associate of Arts in Social Science.

Survivors include his wife, Tonita Anderson of Tsaile; son, Austin Mathew Anderson of Tsaile, daughter, Megan Ashley Anderson of Tsaile; parents, Edward N. and Ruby J. Anderson of Fort Defiance; brothers, Charles C. Anderson, William E. Anderson, Paul A. Anderson, all of Fort Defiance; sister, Chery R. Anderson of Fort Defiance.

Anderson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anson and Lettie Damon, Eddie and Elsie Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Austin M. Anderson, Jerald Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Duane Hanley, Winchell Tso, Paul Anderson.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Patrick and Tonita Anderson’s residence, Tsaile, at 7 p.m.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Nemore Bizahaloni

PINON — Graveside services for Nemore Bizahaloni, 82, were 10 a.m., April 2, at Forest Lake, Yellowhair’s residence. Burial was in family land. Visitation was at gravesite. A rosary was recited at gravesite.

Bizahaloni died March 30, 2009, in Phoenix. He was born March 1, 1927, in Forest Lake, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Yucca Fruit People Clan.

Bizahaloni went to school up to 9th grade. He went to correspondence school through Loretta Heights in Denver and obtained his license to practice mental health counseling.

Survivors include his son, Oscar; daughters, Betty, Shirley, Peggie; parents, Little Judge Bizahaloni, Red hair’s daughter; brothers, Sam Bizahaloni, Jackie Bizahaloni; sisters, Lena Yellowhair, Bah Ashkin, Joanne Shorty; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Bizahaloni was preceded in death by his daughters, Patricia Lee, Tina Marie Bizahaloni, Margaret Bizahaloni.

Pallbearers were Doniel Bizahaloni, Pierre Bizahaloni, Oscar Bizahaloni, Rudy Yellowhair, Thomas Bizahaloni, Clyde Yellowhair.

The family received relatives and friends at Yellowhair’s residence in Forest Lake.

Tse Bonito Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.

Andrew Watchman

FORT DEFIANCE — Funeral services for Andrew D. Watchman, 70, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 4, at Good Shepherd Mission Episcopal Church, Fort Defiance. Bishop Mark MacDonald and The Rev. Richard Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in family land, Fort Defiance. Visitation will be 9 a.m., at Good Shepherd Mission, Fort Defiance.

Watchman was born Sept. 1, 1938, in Fort Defiance, into the Water Flows Together People Clan for the Salt People Clan.

Watchman attended Riverside Indian School, Anadarko, Okla. and Trade School in San Diego. He served in USMC from 1958-1961. He enjoyed carpentry, running, reading, and outdoor activities. Watchman loved his grandchildren and being with his family.

Survivors include his son, Duane Watchman of St. Michaels; daughters, Twila Curtis of Fort Defiance, Andrea Watchman of Oakland, Calif., Christine Watchman of Fort Defiance; mother, Amy M. Watchman of Fort Defiance; brother, Daniel Watchman of Fort Defiance; sister, Katherine Watchman of Fort Defiance; seven grandchildren.

Watchman was preceded in death by his father, Edward Watchman; brothers, Edward Watchman Jr., Nelson Watchman, Benjamin Watchman; sister, Mary Frances Watchman.

Pallbearers will be Duane Watchman, Clinton Curtis, Donovan Curtis, Michael Watchman, Adrian J. Watchman, Delbert Nez.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Good Shepherd Mission, Thorn Bldg., Fort Defiance, following services.

Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
