James Finegan

ALBUQUERQUE — Services for James Raymond Finegan, 83, will be 12 p.m., Thursday, April 9, at Pioneer Memorial Cemetery, Bluewater.

Finegan died April 6, 2009, in Albuquerque. He was born Jan. 20, 1926, in New York, N.Y.

Finegan was a veteran of the US Marines serving during World War II.

Survivors include his children, Jamelyn Youtsen of Bloodfield, Shalene Brandt of Bluewater Village, Liana Madrid of Gallup, James Russell Finegan of Sumerfield, Fla., Paul Patrick Finegan of Springerville, Ariz., Tommy Finegan of Gallup, John Finegan of Alabama; Anna Finegan-Regel of Riverside, Calif., Mark Finegan of Riverside, Calif.

Finegan was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Finegan; children, Tim Finegan, William “Bill” Finegan; parents, Thomas Jerome Finegan, May Farrell Finegan; brothers, Thomas Jerome Finegan Jr., William Finegan, Matthew Finegan, Eddy Finegan.

Pallbearers will be James Russell Finegan, Paul Finegan, Thomas Finegan, Larry Youtsey, Anthony Silva, Eric Silva, Tyrell Finegan, Buck Finegan.

Tina Gomez

GALLUP — Services are pending for Tina Gomez, 74.

Gomez died Monday, April 6, 2009, Gallup. He was born May 29, 1934, in Post, Texas.

Edward King

TWIN LAKES — Funeral services for Edward King, 84, will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 9, at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Layloni Drake will officiate. Burial will be in family plot, Twin Lakes.

King died April 5, 2009, in Tohlakai. He was born May 15, 1924, in Cove, Ariz., into the Mountain Cove People Clan for the Irish People Clan.

King was employed with El Paso Natural Gas, Navajo Nation Water Development and was a member of the NECA of Native American Church.

He was a medicine man and rancher. He enjoyed watching wrestling, western movies and being with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his sons, Jerry King, Ernest King, Raymond King, Roy King, all of Twin Lakes, Dilbert Henderson of Window Rock, Gilbert Henderson of Twin Lakes, Albert Henderson of Flagstaff, Nelson Willey of Crownpoint; daughters, Lucy K. John of Twin Lakes, Roberta Henderson, Ida Henderson, Gloria Henderson, Sue Henderson, all of Shiprock, Alice Martinez of Twin Lakes; sister, Rose Yazzie of Lukachukai; 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

King was preceded in death by his wife, Lupita King; mother, Irene Kelly; father, Roswell Nelson; brothers, Jimmy King, Charlie King, James King, Henry King, George King Sr.; sister, Minnie Benally; two granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be Jaymi John, Thruman King, Kurk King, Jerrick King, Gary King, Corey King.

The family will receive relatives and friends at 4 p.m., Twin Lakes Elementary, following services.

The family will meet at Twin Lakes Chapter at 5 p.m.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Molly Lopez

GALLUP — Services are pending for Molly Lopez, 73.

Lopez died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in Gallup. She was born Jan. 26, 1936, in San Mateo.

A rosary will be 7 p.m., April 9, at Rollie Mortuary.
