Rosemary Cadman-Joe

CHINA SPRINGS — Funeral services for Rosemary Cadman-Joe, 77, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 11, at Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints Church Stake Center, Gallup.

Bishop Rex Eby will officiate. Private disposition will be in China Springs.

Cadman-Joe died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in Gallup. She was born April 9, 1931, in Wildcat, into the Towering House People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.

Cadman-Joe finished school up to the 3rd grade.

She was a member of the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church and was a homemaker and raised 11 children.

Survivors include her sons, Bobby Joe, Emerson Joe, John Joe Jr., all of China Springs, Jimson Joe of Standing Rock, Ted Joe; daughters, Stella Joe of Thoreau, Anna Joe of Albuquerque, Mabel Joe of Gallup; brother, Albert Cadman of Wildcat; sister, Bessie Murphy of Blackhat; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Joe was preceded in death by her husband, John Joe Sr.; son, Anson Joe; daughters, Ella Mae Cadman, Ruby Ann Joe.

Pallbearers will be Jason Jor, Cory Joe, Jui Jui Tso, Michael Joe, Daryl Cadman, John Willie.

The family received relatives and friends at Rock Springs Chapter, 6 p.m., Thursday, April 9.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Irene Jones

GALLUP — Funeral services for Irene Mae Jones, 89, will be 1 p.m., today, April 10, at Bethany Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Bulthuis will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Mission.

Jones died April 8, 2009, in Gallup. She was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Churchrock, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Charcoal Streak People Clan.

Irene Jones was a member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church. She was a resident of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Survivors include her son, Edward T. Begay; daughter, Linda Cekala of Albuquerque; sister, Isabella Hood-Johnson of Churchrock; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Jones was preceded in death by husband, Hubert A. Jones; father, Tom Jesus; mother, Baka Sizbah Becenti; sister, Jennabah Jesus; brother, Henry H. Wilson.

Pallbearers will be John Platero Jr., Don Campbell, Eugene Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Abel Johnson.

The family will meet at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, Gallup, at 1 p.m.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
