Westley Benito

GALLUP — Services are pending for Westley Benito, 40.

Benito died Thursday, April 23, 2009, in Flagstaff. He was born Feb. 7, 1969, in Gallup, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Salt People Clan.

LUKACHUKAI — Funeral services for Ernest Grayson Claw, 65, will be 1 p.m., April 25, at Lukachukai Catholic Church. The Rev. Blane will officiate. Burial will be in Lukachukai Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m., April 25, in Lukachukai.

Claw died April 22, 2009, in Chinle. He was born June 20, 1943, in Chinle, into the Blacksheep People Clan for the Tangle People Clan.
Claw was a business owner for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Claw of Lukachukai; sons, Randy Claw, Dewayne Claw, both of Chinle; daughters, Thomasita Yazzie, Colleen Yazzie, both of Chinle; brothers, Johnson Claw of Nazlini, Nelson Claw of Chinle, Wayne Claw of Chinle, Clarence Claw of Chinle, Lonnie Claw of Kayenta; sister, Rhonda Thompson of Chinle; seven grandchildren.

Claw was preceded in death by his father, Grayson Claw; mother, Helen N. Claw; brothers, Larry Claw, Grayson Claw Jr.; sisters, Lorene Chee Yazzie, Ella Draper.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Claw, Randy Claw, Wilbert Sandoval, Mike Draper Jr., Ronald Draper, Kevin Draper.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Lukachukai Catholic Hall, Lukachukai, following services.

BECENTI — Services are pending for Edison Bill Henry, 84.

Henry died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, in Crownpoint. He was born April 14, 1925, in Naschitti, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Salt People Clan.
