Paul Garcia

GALLUP — Services for Paul V. Garcia, 91, will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 18, at St. Francis Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited 10:30 a.m., at St. Francis Church.
Garcia died May 5, 2009, in Gallup. He was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Third Birth, Texas.

Garcia was retired from Ker McGee Mines. He loved to spend time with family.

Survivors include his sons, Daniel Garcia, Ralph Garcia, both of Gallup; brother, Manuel Garcia of Albuquerque; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.

Garcia was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie M. Garcia.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Garcia, Ralph Garcia.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Gallup Community Service Center, 410 Bataan Veterans St., Gallup, following services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Christine Pino

PINEHILL — Funeral services for Christine Coho Pino, 77, will be 11 a.m., Monday, May 18, at Pinehill Church of God. Burial will be in family cemetery, Pinehill.

Pino died May 12, 2009, in Gallup. She was born Feb. 12, 1932, in Pinehill, into the Tangle People Clan for the Meadow People Clan.

Pino was a farmer in Phoenix, a homemaker and weaver. She enjoyed doing puzzle work, beadwork, horseback riding, watching T.V., spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She receive memberships awards from Red Lake Nazarene Church, Pinehill.

Survivors include her husband, Tommie Mark Pino of Pinehill;children, Happie Bessie Allen of San Jose, Calif., Pauline Coho of Pinehill, Glenn Thomas Pino of Pinehill, Valine Pino Pinto of Blackhat, Jonah Thomas Pino of Albuquerque, Jerrison Thomas Pino of Pinehill, Joseph Thomas Pino of Albuquerque, Richard Thomas Pino of Pinehill; brothers, Julian Frank Coho of Ramah, James Frank Coho of Pinehill, Curtis Frank Coho of Texas, Ernest Frank Coho of Pinehill; sisters, Elise Jake Pino of Pinehill, Margarite Martinez of St. John, Linda Gonzales of Los Norris, Janie S. Grace of Alabama, Nina Coho of Pinehill; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

Pino was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Garcia Coho; sisters, Margarite Martinez, Linda Gonzales, Janie S. Grace; brother, James Frank Coho; daughter, Pauline Coho; sons, Glenn Thomas Pino, Jerrison Thomas Pino.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Pino, Darrell Livingston, Darrell Brown, Burton N. James, Benjamin James, Roger Pino, Ernest Pino, Richard T. Pino.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Pinehill Church of God, Pinehill, following services.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
