Jimmy Allen

THOREAU — Celebration of life services for Jimmy Ray Allen, 69, will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 28, at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, at Compassion Mortuary.

Allen died May 22, 2009, in Thoreau. He was born Jan. 5, 1940, in Hagerman.

Allen was a veteran of the US Marines and retired as a Uranium Miner.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene Blakely Allen of Thoreau; children, Tammy Elkins of Thoreau, Tina Williams of Farmington, Terri Foster of Bluewater Lake, Treva Cowick of Farmington, Thomas Wade Allen of Bluewater Lake, JoLane Nichols of Fork, Ariz., Sarah Raelynne Randolph of Gallup, Jeannette Allen of Laguna Beach, Calif.; brother, Jerry Mac Allen of Florence; sister, Joyce Loretta Parker of Deming; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas S. Allen, Annie Ruth Bullock Allen; sister, Janet Dorothy Allen.

Roy Cadman

MEXICAN SPRINGS — Funeral services for Roy Cadman, 86, will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. Steven Joe will officiate. Burial will be in Lone Pine Cemetery, Mexican Springs. Visitation will be in Mexican Springs.

Cadman died May 23, 2009, in Gallup. He was born April 26, 1923, in Mexican Springs, into the Mexican People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.

Cadman worked at the railroad, farming, rancher, sheep herder, horse training, and tan buck skins. He was in the US Army. His hobbies included watching western movies and television.

Survivors include his sisters, Lorraine Barney, Edith Joe.

Cadman was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Yukinasbah Cadman; sister, Mary; three brothers.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Mexican Springs Chapter, following services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Alice Castillo

LUPTON — Services are pending for Alice M. Castillo, 74.

Castillo died May 24, 2009, in Albuquerque. She was born March 15, 1935, in Lupton.

A family gathering will be Wednesday, May 27, at Lupton Chapter House.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Marquis Lente

ALBUQUERQUE — Funeral services for Marquis Dann Lente, 39, were 11 a.m., today, May 26, at St. Elizabeth Church, Paguate, N.M. Burial will be in Paguate Village Cemetery. A rosary was recited 7 p.m., Monday, May 25, at Gaco home.

Lente died on May 22, in Albuquerque. He was born on August 23, 1970, in Keams Canyon, Ariz. 

Lente graduated from Crownpoint High School in 1988. 

Survivors include his parents, Charles and Sandra Fletcher; sisters, Cherlyn J. Fletcher, Yukon, OK, Angeline C. Fletcher, Albuquerque, Kateri D. Fletcher, Albuquerque; brother, Charles J. Fletcher, Albuquerque. 

Lente was preceded indeath by his grandpa, Santiago Lente. 

The family will receive relatives and friends at Bender Hall in Paguate, following services.
