Richard Roybal

SANTA FE — Services for Richard Roybal, 70, were 10 a.m., Monday, May 18, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Santa Fe. Burial was in Santa Fe National Cemetery, with military honors.

Roybal died May 12, 2009, in Santa Fe. He was born May 9, 1939, in Gibson.

Roybal was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Roybal; son, Kerry Roybal of Colo.; daughter, Donna Roybal Grayhill of Pa.; sisters, Brenda Tafoya of Taos, Dianna Ferrero of Cerro, Virginia Baca of Gallup, Piedad Rauck of Las Vegas; brothers, Mike Roybal of Santa Fe, Freddy Roybal of Taos; two grandchildren.

Roybal was preceded in death by his parents, Merejildo Roybal, Angelita Vigil Roybal; sisters, Valeria, Pina Ruiz.
