Jim Ben

WHEATFIELDS — Viewing for Jim Ben, 80, will be from 9-10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, at St. Isabel Catholic Church, Lukachukai, followed by a funeral mass. Interment will follow at the Lukachukai Community Cemetery.

Ben died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, in Flagstaff. He was born Oct. 12, 1928, in Wheatfields.

Survivors include his sons, Chester Ben, Phillip Ben, Carl Ben all of Wheatfields, Amos Ben of Shiprock, Peterson Ben of Lukachukai; daughers, Betty Ahasteen, Lettie Redhouse of Wheatfields, Sherry John of Tsaile, Christine Yerky of Farmington.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Smiley and Annie Ben; wife, Barbara Ben.
