RAMAH — The last day of the Ramah Farmers Market was on the first weekend of the Ancient Way Festival. It was crowded at the market as people sold the last of their summer harvest and homemade goods.
Jean Helf was selling chocolate chip cookies, biscochitos and her homemade bread.
“I grind my own grains,” she said while handing out samples of her baked goods. “I grind wheat rye and flax. It’s a lot healthier for you. La Montanita in Gallup is going to start carrying my bread.”
