Charges upped in 2-year-old girl's death

Gillson has upped the charges against Eric Murphy, who is accused of killing a 2-year-old girl in a drunken driving crash Oct. 13.

Police initially charged Murphy with homicide by vehicle, a third-degree felony punishable by six years in prison. If convicted of the new charge, child abuse resulting in death, Murphy will face a mandatory life sentence.
