Sally Francisco

COUSINS — Services are pending for Sally C. Francisco, 81.

Francisco died Friday, April 15, 2011, in Gallup. She was born July 15, 1929, in Two Wells, into the Towering House People Clan for the Red Bottom People Clan.

John James

GALLUP — Memorial services for John Patrick James, 58, will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 18, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup.

James died April 11, 2011, in Gallup. He was born Dec. 18, 1952, in Little Rock.

James was in the US Army. He loved playing on the computer and loved to read and learn military history, NASCAR, Dept. of Public Safety Motor transportation police.

Survivors include his brothers, Michael C. James of Gallup, David H. James of Little Rock, Ark.; sister, Brenda James of West Memphis, Ark.
James was preceded in death by John and Patricia James.

Pallbearers will be co-workers at Port of Entry.

Dorothy Price

ST. MICHAEL — Funeral Mass for Dorothy M. Price, 69, will be 9 a.m., April 18, at Mary Mother of Mankind, St. Michael. The Rev. Gilbert Schneider will officiate. Burial will be in private family land, Fort Defiance. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., before Mass. A Rosary will be recited 4 p.m., April 17, at Mary Mother of Mankind, St. Michaels.

Price died April 14, 2011, in Fort Defiance. She was born June 2, 1941, in Fort Defiance, into the Water’s Edge People Clan for the Tangle People Clan.

Price graduated from Window Rock High School and attended Northern Arizona University. She was a member of the St. Michael Parish and employed with BIA Navajo Nation until retirement.
Survivors include her son, Lorne A. Price of Window Rock; daughters, Lorinda Roanhorse of Fort Defiance, Lenora Whippi of Tempe, Laurice Price of Window Rock; sister, Deanna Hickman of El Cajon, Calif.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Price was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Ruth Hickman; husband, Lorenzo A. Price; sister, Helen Toglena.

Pallbearers will be Alden Davidson, Delmer Francisco, Randy Chavez, James Michael III, Justin Miles, Evander Yazzie.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Fort Defiance Chapter House, following services. The family will meet 6 p.m., at Fort Defiance Chapter House.
