Perry Ashley
SANDERS — Funeral services for Perry Ashley, 47, will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 29, at Good News Church, Houck. Rexon Spean will officiate. Burial will be in Houck Cemetery.
Ashley died April 23, 2011, in Gallup. He was born Jan. 8, 1964, in Fort Defiance, into the Black Streak Wood People Clan for the Charcoal Streak Red Running Into The Water People Clan.
Ashley completed up to 10th grade at Wide Ruins Community School, Aneth and Bountiful, Utah. He worked at Forbes Welding and Fabrication, K&J Steel and Bodell Construction. His hobbies included traveling, going to powwows, dancing and being with friends and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Ashley of Sanders; sons, Matthew Ashley of Querino Canyon, Marvin Ashley of Yuma, Marcus Ashley of Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Melissa Ashley of Tulsa, Okla.; mother, Bah Y. Ashley; brothers, Peter Ashley, Phillip Ashley, Preston Ashley, Prestey Ashley Sr. of St. George, Utah, Larry Ashley, Leonard Ashley; sister, Jennie Slick, Annalee Ashley.
Ashley was preceded in death by John Ashley, Prescott Ashley, Grace Ashley, Alta Ashley, Virginia Harry, Edward, Stanley, Clinton Ashley.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Ashley, Matthew Ashley, Scottie Ashley, Ericson Ashley, Eric Ashley, Darrell Ashley.

Nathan Davis
PINEHAVEN — Funeral services for Nathan Ryan Davis, 22, will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 29, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. The Rev. Eugene Bowski will officiate. Burial will be in JVS Davis Ranch, Pinehaven. A Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m., today, April 28, at 40C Pinehaven Road, Pinehaven.
Davis died April 24, 2011, in Breadsprings. He was born Feb. 26, 1989, in Gallup, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Water’s Edge People Clan.
Davis attended David Skeet Elementary, Gallup Jr. High, Gallup High and graduated from Gallup Central High School in 2009. He received his certificate of construction technology from UNM-Gallup. He enjoyed helping at Rodeos with Davis Bucking Bulls and loved animals. Davis was an Oakland Raider fan and a NASCAR #18 Kyle Busch fan.
Survivors include his parents, Cecelia Davis of Pinehaven, Johnny Charley of Vanderwagen; brothers, Gabriel J. Davis of Albuquerque, Tyrell A. Yazzie of Pinehaven.
Davis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeff and Mary J. Davis.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Davis Jr., Andrew Jeff Davis, Marvin Yazzie, Gregory Davis, Jeff Davis II, Gabriel Jeff Davis, Craig Lane, Virgilio Pinto.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Breadsprings Chapter, following services.

Sister Mary Duvall
MAPLE MOUNT, Ky. — Funeral Mass for Ssiter Mary Evelyn Duvall, OSU, 88, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 29, at Mount Saint Joseph, Ky. Visitation will be 4 p.m., today, April 28, at Mount Saint Joseph, with a wake service following at 6:30 p.m.
Duvall died April 26, in Maple Mount, Ky. She was in her 70th year of religious life. She was a native of Sunfish, Ky., and a librarian at St. Francis of Assisi School, Gallup, from 1997-2007. She aldo ministered in San Fidel, Farmington, Kentucky and Missouri.
Survivors include her sisters, Catherine Duvall, Martha Durbin, both of Sunfish, Mary Davis of Leitchfield, Ky, Frances Heath of Mountain Home, Idaho; brothers, Lawrence Duvall of Louisville, Ky, William Pius Duvall of Brownsville, Ky.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph, 8001 Cummings Road, Maple Mount, Ky. 42356.
Stacey King
COUSINS — Services for Stacey Renea King, 7 months, will be 1 p.m., April 27, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Dennis Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Gallup.
King died April 13, 2011, in Cousins. She was born Sept. 2, 2010, in Gallup, into the Towering House People Clan for the Wateredge People Clan.
King’s hobbies included having fun, smiling and laughing with her family.
Survivors in her mother, Jessica Yazzie of China Springs, father of Cousins; sisters, Nicole Kayla King, Amber Kayla King, both of Cousins; grandparents, Colleen Johnson of China Springs, Nancy King of Cousins, Davison King of Yahtahey.
King was preceded in death by her great-great-grandmother, Rose B. Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Justin Yazzie, Donovan Jones.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Rock Spring Chapter House, following services.

Lorraine Sandoval
TUBA CITY — Funeral services for Lorraine H. Sandoval, 78, will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 29, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tuba City. Alan NumKema will officiate. Burial will be in Citizen Cemetery, Flagstaff. Visitation will be 9 a.m., Friday, April 29, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church.
Sandoval died April 25, 2011, in Tucson. She was born June 29, 1932, in Tuba City, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Dawa (Hopi Sun) People Clan.
Sandoval graduated from Haskell Indian School in Kansas. She worked as a administrative asistant at Tuba City Boarding School. She loved gradening and traveling. Sandoval enjoyed watching the Phoenix Suns, loved to cook and bake and spend time with grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Gary Sandoval; daughters, Jeannie Sandoval, Sharon Sandoval-Iron, Maxine Sandoval; brother, Leroy Shingoitewa; sisters, Mary Nuvatrik, Gayle Honahni; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
Sandoval was preceded in death by her husband, Merril L. Sandoval; son, Gerald Sandoval; brother, Lorin Humetewa; sister, Lolita Begaye; parents, Irene Tisi-Humetewa, Samuel Shingoitewa.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Sandoval, Lenard Dillon, K’enard Dillon II, Holyn Sandoval, Nelson Sandoval, Jerome Iron Jr.
The family will receive relatives and friends following services.

VANDERWAGEN — Services are pending for Tom Lee Skeet, 87.
Skeet died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, in Phoenix. He was born July 1, 1923, in Breadsprings, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.
