GRANTS — Private services for Virginia Aragon, 83, was held by the family.
Aragon died May 31, 2011, in Grants. She was born Sept. 11, 1927, in Papoose, Okla.
Aragon was retired from the State of New Mexico as a social worker.
Survivors include her children, Gene Aragon of Grants, Charles Aragon of Grants, Jack W. Aragon of Grants, Cynthia Aragon of Los Lunas, Jo Ann Ahner of Los Lunas; brothers, Earl Williams of Mansford, Okla., Donald Williams of Waldron, Ark., Bert Williams of Manford, Okla., Francis Williams of Bristow, Okla., Doyle Williams of Cantwell, Alaska; sisters, Mary Coleman-Lewis of Tulsa, Okla., Anna Ruth Wesley of Cromwell, Okla., Cathy Ogg of Okemah, Okla.
Aragon was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Aragon; parents, Paul Williams, Violet Williams.

Kee Cohoe
SHIPROCK — Funeral services for Kee Cohoe, 77, will be 1 p.m., Saturday, June 4, at Desert View Funeral Home Chapel, north U.S. Highway 491, Shiprock. Burial will be in Shiprock Community Cemetery.
Cohoe died Saturday, May 28, 2011, in Shiprock. He was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Hidden Valley, Tocito, N.M.
Survivors include his children, Scot Kee Cohoe, Johnathan Owelicio, Heidi Ann Cohoe, Christie Joyce Cohoe, Karen Owelicio; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters.
Elaine Thomas
ZUNI — Funeral services for Elaine Dodson Thomas, 66, will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 3, at Zuni Christian Reformed Church, Zuni. The Rev. Mike Meekhof will officiate. Burial will be in Vanderwagen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-10 p.m., tonight, June 2, at the Thomas residence.
Thomas died May 30, 2011, in Zuni. She was born Nov. 5, 1944, in Tucumcari.
Thomas graduated from Gallup High in 1962. She worked as a bookkeeper for Big Hearted Jerry’s Car Sales and Seward Motor Co. until 1968 when she moved to Taos where she was the owner of The Seven Rays art gallery. In 1974, she and her husband were hired to co-manage the Vanderwagen family business, Halona Plaza, and purchased the business in 1982. She loved to paint, play family games, read, do crossword puzzles and wrote books on the Vander Wagen family history and genealogy. Thomas was a hardworking business woman that was an inspiration to those around her.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Thomas of Zuni; sons, Loren Thomas of Zuni, Tristan Thomas of Albuquerque; daughter, Renee Barraza of Lakeside; eight grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Dodson, Gertrude Vanderwagen; brother, James Richard Dodson.
Pallbearers will be Albert Barraza, Christopher Dodson, Stewen Dodson, Rick Murphy, Loren Thomas, Tristan Thomas.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Zuni Christian Reformed Church, following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zuni Christian Mission School/Building project.

Eugene Garcia
LOS LUNAS — Funeral Mass for Eugene Garcia, 67, will be 1 p.m., today, June 2, at San Clemente Catholic Church, Los Lunas. Burial will be at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
isitation was 6:30 p.m., June 1, with a rosary at San Clemente Catholic Church.
Garcia died May 30, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born June 23, 1943, in Denver, Colo.
Garcia graduated from Santa Rosa High School and Highlands University in Las Vegas, N.M. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from the Gallup McKinley County Schools. Garcia taught school at Tohatchi and Ramah before he retired.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Baca Garcia of Los Lunas; children, Dennis Garcia of Las Vegas, Norma Grespin of Albuquerque, Tammy Garcia; sisters, Sandra Garcia of Albuquerque, Merlinda Lopez of Los Lunas; brothers, Mackie Garcia of Santa Rosa, Robert Garcia of San Jon, Leroy Garcia of Las Vegas, N.M., Pedro Garcia of Albuquerque; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo L. Garcia, Veronica Garcia; sister, Julia Sisneros; brothers, Pablo “Paul” Garcia, Joe Garcia.
Pallbearers will be Manuel Garcia, William Garcia, Toby Crespin, Jarrod Zamora, Michael Sena, Andrew Chavez, Kenny Langley.

Faye Hayden
GRANTS — Funeral services for Faye E. Hayden, 91, will be Friday, June 3, at Central Baptist Church. Burial will be in Grants Memorial Park. The Rev. Lonnie Jordon will officiate.
Hayden died May 31, 2011, in Grants. She was born Aug. 16, 1919, in Grand Saline, Texas.
Survivors include her childen, Jerry Campbell of Grants, Larry Campbell of Grants; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Hayden was preceded in death by her first husband, Dan T. Campbell; second husband, Robert Hayden; son, Aubrey Dale Campbell; parents, Issac Melton, Nellie Belle Melton; brothers, Vern Melton, M.J. Melton.

Nelson Kee
STEAMBOAT — Funeral services for Nelson Kee, 98, will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 3, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Steamboat. Burial will be in Kee family plot, Steamboat.
isitation will be 9 a.m., Friday, June 3, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Kee died May 27, 2011, in Show Low. He was born Oct. 16, 1913, in Steamboat, into the Mexican People Clan for the Coyote Pass People Clan.
Kee worked for Santa Fe Railroad. He retired in 1978 and was a veteran of World War II. He was a rancher, sheepherder and tended to his horses. He lived life to the fullest and left behind good memories and a legacy of love.
Survivors include his wife, Mae; sons, Benson, Benjamin, Jay, Ronnie; daughters, Irene, Rita, Tasha, Lucy, Mae, Tanya; sister, Bernice Smith; 57 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren.
Kee was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alkeehasbah Kee; brothers, George, Guy Tso, Ivan, Allen, Joe.
Pallbearers will be Benson Kee, Benjamin Kee, Ronnie Kee, Dewayne Kee, Francis Smith.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Steamboat Chapter House, following services.

Lolita Mandagaran
GRANTS — Rosary and Funeral Mass for Lolita Mandagaran, 86, were 9:30 a.m., today, June 2, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial was in Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella was the celebrant.
Mandagaran died May 31, 2011, in Grants. She was born Aug. 3, 1924, in San Mateo.
Survivors include her children, Arnold Mandagaran of Grants, Louie Mandagaran of Albuquerque, Joseph Mandagaran of Grants, Jackie Mandagaran of Grants, Paul Mandagaran of Grants, Yvonne Mandagaran of Grants, Janette Cormick of Grants; brother, Refugio Castillo of Denver, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Mandagaran was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Mandagaran; parents, Isidora Castillo, Demitrio Castillo; son, Gene Mandagaran; sisters, Benita Castillo, Jennie Trujillo, Lila Gonzales.

Johnnie Morgan
TSE LI CHII — Funeral services for Johnnie Morgan, 88, will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 3, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. Deacon Michael Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery, Gallup.
Morgan died May 31, 2011, in Gallup. He was born July 15, 1922, in Tse Li Chii, into the Black Streak People Clan for the Meadow People Clan.
Morgan was a laborer for Santa Fe Railroad and Lumber Jack, McNary, Ariz. He was a life time member of Tse Li Chii Chapter. He enjoyed maintaining chores with grandchildren and loved to travel.
Survivors include his sons, Ray J. Morgan of Tse Li Chii, Jimmy S. Morgan of Gallup; daughters, Linda M. Livingston of Tse Li Chii, Helen M. Coriz of Santo Domingo; brothers, Dennis Morgan of Hay Stack, Curtis Morgan of Albuquerque; sister, Esther Skeets; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bah Morgan; wife, Nesbah Morgan; sons, Franklin, Steve, James R. Morgan.
Pallbearers will be Philbert Livingston, Albert Livingston, Julian Morgan, Raymond Morgan Jr., Joseph K. Morgan, Jason Morgan.
