Lothario Haloo

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — A traditional wake will be held for Lothario Haloo, 54. Burial will be in Zuni.
Haloo died Oct. 18, 2011, in Torrance, Calif. He was born Dec. 8, 1956, in Zuni.

Haloo graduated from Zuni High School and received his associate’s degree in accounting. He retired from California State University in Long Beach, Calif., as an International Enrollment Admissions Adviser where he worked for 15 years.

Survivors include his sons Michael Coble and Keith Bobelu, of Zuni; daughter Jessica Haloo; brother Delbert Haloo, of Zuni, and sisters Lucille Siutza and Laura Faye Paylusi. He was preceded in death by his wife Maefa Haloo and parents Peter Haloo and Luttie Lamy.

Jayden Yazzie

STEAMBOAT, Ariz. — Funeral services for Jayden Keith Yazzie, 2, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at the Yazzie residence in Balakaii. Burial will be in Balakaii Mesa in Steamboat. Visitation will be held at Silver Creek Mortuary Chapel.

Yazzie died Oct. 21, 2011, in Phoenix. He was born May 12, 2009, in Tuba City into the Tangle People Clan born for the Red House People Clan.
Yazzie liked to play cars and kept to himself. He loved having his parents read books to him and he was very charming.

Survivors include his mother Candelaria Yazzie and stepfather Lydell I. Mitchell; brothers Exaviar Frank Yazzie and Cypruss Lee Mitchell; and grandparents Kenneth Yazzie and Christine Gorman.

Yazzie was preceded in death by his uncle Keith Yazzie and great-grandmother Dorothy Gorman.
Pallbearers will be Kendall Yazzie, Ken Yazzie, Kenneth Yazzie and Lydell I. Mitchell.

Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Ruby Jeannette Hubbard

GALLUP — Funeral services for Ruby Jeannette Hubbard, 81, are pending.

Hubbard was born Jan. 4, 1930, in Chicago. She died Oct. 25, 2011, in Gallup.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
