Albert Cadman

SAGEBRUSH — Funeral services for Albert Cadman, 65, were 10 a.m., today, April 5, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. The Rev. Dennis Gardner officiated. Burial was in Wildcat Springs.

Visitation was 2 p.m., April 4, at Rollie Mortuary.
Cadman died March 29, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born April 30, 1945, in Wildcat Springs, into the Towering House People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.

Cadman attended Twin Lakes Boarding School and Intermountain Indian High School, Brigham City, Utah. He was a Vietnam veteran, vice-commander, Rock Springs VA. His hobbies included livestock, being with family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Cadman; sons, Daryl Cadman, Patrick Cadman, Darrell Cadman; daughter, Cheryl Cadman; sister, Bessie Murphy; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchildren.

Cadman was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Mary Cadman; son, Philbert Cadman; daughter, Kaneanne; brothers, Chee, Robert, Fred, Bennie; sisters, Rosemary Joe, Hilda C. Reeder.

Pallbearers were Rock Springs Veterans, Honor Guard, Tohatchi Veterans.

The family received relatives and friends at Rock Springs Chapter, following services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Annie Tsosie

STEAMBOAT — Graveside services for Annie Ruth Tsosie, 69, will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, at family cemetery, Steamboat.

Tsosie died March 30, 2011, in Flagstaff. She was born July 6, 1941, in Steamboat, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Mexican People Clan.

Tsosie was a homemaker. Her hobbies included rugweaving, arts and crafts. She took care of her mother, loved taking care of her sheep, loved to dance, travel, read detective magazines, do puzzles and play bingo. She will be missed.
Survivors include her brothers, Paul Bill Sr., Bobbie Brown, Robert Brown, Richard Brown Jr.; sisters, Lola Brown, Shirley Rod, Ilene Hernoon, seven other sisters; numerous grandchildren.
Tsosie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Tsosie; parents, Sarah Brown, Lucy Billy.

Pallbearers will be immediate family members.
The family will receive relatives and friends at family residence, following services.

Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Alton Tungovia Sr.

POLACCA — Traditional wake for Alton Tungovia Sr., 53, were Monday, April 4, in Polacca.

Tungovia died April 2, 2011, in Polacca. He was born Sept. 13, 1957, in Keams Canyon, into the Tewa Bear People Clan.

Tungovia graduated from Ganado High School, attended Prescott Community College and received a degree in electronics. He enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in 1976-1980, in San Diego, Calif. He was a mechanic and was working construction. Tungovia also worked with community development programs. He enjoyed carving kachina dolls, painting, spending time with family and friends, traveling and reading and hunting.

Survivors include his sons, Alton Tungovia Jr., Lance Tungovia, Clarence Tungovia, all of Albuquerque; daughters, Christina Mitchell of Mesa, Bryneen Tungovia of Albuquerque; brothers, Howard Tungovia of Nazlini, Marvin Tungovia of Phoenix; two grandchildren.
Tungovia was preceded in death by his parents, Bryon and Bertha Tungovia; sisters, Adeline Tungovia, Alta Tungovia, Gaylene Tungovia; brothers, Lowery Tungovia Sr., Boyd Tungovia, Hansen Tungovia Sr., Merrill Tungovia, Carlos Tungovia.

Pallbearers were family members.

The family received relatives and friends at Koiyaquaptewa residence, Polacca.
