Ernest Begay

SAND SPRINGS — Funeral services for Ernest Begay, 53, will be set at a later date.

Begay died July 15, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born Dec. 11, 1957, in Crownpoint.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Annie Brown

PINEDALE, N.M. — Services for Annie S. Brown, 75, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 21 at Rehoboth Christian Reformed Church in Rehoboth. The Rev. Paul Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Rehoboth Cemetery.

Brown died July 17, 2011, in Gallup. She was born Jan. 13, 1936, in Pinedale into the Towering House People Clan for the Two Came to the Water People Clan.

Brown was a homemaker, silversmith, rancher and she served for several years as a New Mexico child care provider.

Survivors include her husband Roy Brown; sons Frank Etcitty of Kirtland, Herman Brown of Pinedale, Emerson Brown of Pinedale, Ernest Brown of Sundance; daughters Orlinda Brown, Laranda John, Jeanita Brown, Louise A. Tsosie, all of Pinedale; brothers Frankie Silversmith and Ben Silversmith; sisters Arlene Leslie, Nancy Tso; 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tom Silversmith, Helen Silversmith and brother Dan Silversmith.

Pallbearers will be Cedric Knight Secody, Tommie Tso Jr., Deroy Tsosie, Darnell Tsosie, Herbert Haley, Shawn Brown.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Rehoboth Fellowship Hall at 1:30 p.m. following services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Donovan Jones

CHINLE — Graveside services for Donovan Jones, 32, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2011, at the Del Muerto Community Cemetery. The Rev. Blane Greene O.F.M. will officiate. Burial will be in Del Muerto Community Cemetery 3 p.m.-5 p.m., Wednesday, July 20.

Visitation will be held at Tse Bonito Mortuary.
Jones died July 13, 2011, in Phoenix. He was born July 11, 1979, in Fort Defiance into the Bitterwater People Clan for Coyote Pass People Clan.

Jones graduated from Sherman Indian High School. He was a certified electrician. He was an artist, wrestler, cross-country runner and bull rider. He enjoyed breaking and training horses, football, cooking and he was always with his children.

Survivors include his sons, D’Andre Xander Jones, Cassey Ray Jones; daughter, Summer Paige Yazzie; parents, Edison J. Jones and Donna R. Roan; brothers, Garrick Jones, William Attson Jr.; sisters, Deniall Jones, Sandrea Roan, Natalyn Roan, Sasha Attson, Kelsey Smith; grandparents, Mary R. Yazzie, Elvan Roan, Bahe and Sarah Jones.

Jones was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Eva Desbah and his grandfather Francis Babcock.

Pallbearers will be Daren Holiday, Felix Benally, John James, Annon Maxfield, Jackson Clark, Darrell Holiday.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Redwood Housing #27 at 6 p.m.

Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Aaron Kee

ROUGH ROCK, Ariz. — Funeral services for Aaron Ramon Kee, 35, will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2011, at Sunset Memorial Park. Burial will follow.

Kee died July 13, 2011, in Tucson. He was born Jan. 5, 1976, in Fort Defiance into the Red House People Clan for the Bitter Water People Clan.
Kee went to Rough Rock elementary school and graduated from school in Shonto. He lived in Tucson.

Survivors include his son Devan Staley; daughters Angel Ramona Martin, Raina Staley; brothers Steven Joe, Fred Greyeyes Jr.; sisters Lynnette Harjo, Eleanora Kee, Sharon Murr, Lucinda Kee, Frederickka Greyeyes; grandmother Betty J. Honie.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Billy Joe, Nelson Kee, Nora C. Tso.

Pallbearers will be Steven Joe, Harold Honie, larry Honie, Nathan Notonabah, Nathanial Notonabah.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
