GALLUP — Arthur Cometsevah used to call his children “my race horses.” It was his way of expressing love and admiration for them. All five had grown to be proud of their Native American heritage, and that was more evident whenever his children, all dressed in traditional Cheyenne regalia, entered a circle and danced.
