Wyonna Billy

MANY FARMS, Ariz. — Funeral services for Wyonna Marina Billy, 19, will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at the Church of Christ in Many Farms, Ariz. The Rev. Benjamin Begay will officiate. Burial will be in a family plot in Many Farms. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m.

Billy died Aug. 5, 2011, in Many Farms. She was born April 27, 1992, in Chinle, Ariz., into the Charcoal Streaked Red Running into the Water People Clan for the Zuni People Clan.

Billy graduated from Chinle High School in May 2010. She loved to care for horses and stray cats and dogs. Her favorite color was purple and she enjoyed being outdoors. Billy also enjoyed hanging out with her friends and brothers and was a gentle kind person.

Survivors include her parents Alison Kinlichee and Allison T. Kinlichee; bothers Cornelius T. Billy and Herschel J. Billy; sisters Anna M. Billy and Querida M. Begay and grandmother Bernice Begay.

Billy was preceded in death by her grandfather Jimmy D. Begay; great-grandmother Lesina.

Pallbearers will be Cornelius T. Billy, Herschel J. Billy, Lyle Hubbard, Monty K. Klah, Steve Iown and Kendrick Curly.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Many Farms Chapter House.

Genevieve Dennison

NEWCOMB — Services for Genevieve Dennison, 76, are pending.

Dennison died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, in Gallup. She was born Oct. 21, 1934, in Toadlena.

A family gathering will be held Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at 6 p.m. at the Newcomb Chapter.

Cope Memorial has charge of the arraignments.

Frank James

CHINA SPRINGS — Funeral services for Frank James will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at Rollie Mortuary Palm Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Gardner will officiate. Burial will be on family land in China Springs.

James died Aug. 3, 2011, in Gallup. He was born Feb. 21, 1929, in China Springs.

James worked at Union Pacific for 36 years and retired in 1993. After he worked for a chapter house, as a farmer in Utah and Idaho. He enjoyed staying home as a homemaker and playing card games. His favorite color was blue and his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include his sons Raymond James, of Churchrock, Raymus James, of Red Rock, Emerson Thompson and Benjiman Thompson, both of Vanderwagen; daughters Rose James, of Red Rock, Pauline Thompson, of Pinehill and Tracy Kimbel, of Houck, Ariz.; sister Irene Lee, of China Springs; 30 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his father Isaac James; mother Edith James and brothers Paul James and Gelbert James.

Pallbearers will be Darren Natoni, Tremayne James, Cordell Lee, Raymond Shac, Kenneth Yazzie and Zach Lee.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Rock Springs Chapter House.
