Freddie Manuelito

STANDING ROCK — Funeral services for Freddie Manuelito, 55, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Mission Baptist Church in Standing Rock. The Rev. Niel Forrester will officiate.

Manuelito died Aug. 11, 2011, in Gamerco. He was born June 6, 1956, in Gallup.

Survivors include his wife Debra Manuelito, of Albuquerque; sons Shawn Manuelito, Lynde Manuelito, and Feliciano Manuelito, all of Albuquerque; brother Dennis Manuelito, of Churchrock; sisters Ella Williams, of Tohatchi, Mabel Hoskie, of Coyote Canyon, Marita Nakkai, of Gallup, and Marylena Irving, of Naschitti; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bessie Manuelito and Alfred Manuelito.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Danny Sandoval Sr.

GAMERCO — Services for Danny Sandoval Sr., 83, will be announced at a later date.

Sandoval died Aug. 29, 2011, in Gallup. He was born May 4, 1928, in Torreon.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mary W. Yazzie

PREWITT — Funeral services for Mary Yazzie, 82, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at the Church of God in Prewitt. The Rev. Ray Barker will officiate. Burial will be in Grants City Cemetery.

Yazzie died Aug. 25, 2011, in Grants. She was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Ramah.

Survivors include her sons Danny Yazzie, Bennie Yazzie and Phillip Yazzie, all of Prewitt, and Austin Yazzie, of Thoreau; daughters Catherine Delgarito, of Grants, Pauline Yazzie, of Prewitt, Angelita Willie, of Gallup, Sara Yazzie, of Grants, Geneva Yazzie, of Mentmore; brothers Mike Willie, Thompson Willie and Emerson Willie; sisters Ethel Yazzie, of Prewitt, and Bessie Morgan, of Thoreau; 31 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Junior Yazzie; parents Jim Willie and Anna Willie; daughters Jodie Ann Yazzie; sisters Grace Morgan and Lucy Jake; and grandsons Shadrick Yazzie and Emerson Sean John Jr.

Pallbearers will be Austin Yazzie, Phillip Yazzie, Jordan Yazzie, Brian Yazzie, Albert Yazzie, Pete Begay, Mike Millie, Thompson Willie Danny Yazzie and Austin Yazzie Jr.

The family will receive relatives and friends Aug. 30, 2011, at Mary Yazzie’s residence; 2 miles south of Prewitt, State Road 412, House 150.
