Esther Julian Antonio Coho

RAMAH — Funeral services for Esther Julian Antonio Coho, 80, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Ramah meeting house. Burial will be in a family plot.

Coho died Sept. 24, 2011, in Zuni. She was born Dec. 25, 1930, in Las Noris into the Towering House People Clan for the Mescalero Apache People Clan.

Coho was a homemaker, sheep herder, rancher, traditionalist and raised her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons Fred and Troy, of Pinehill, Adolf and Truman, of Gallup, and Bill, of Morinci, Ariz.; daughters Faye Wilson, Jane and Max, of Pinehill, and Bonnie, of Albuquerque; brothers Johnny Antonio; 25 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents Julian Antonio and Yilchyidezbah Natan; and sisters Elsie Pino, Mary Antonio Pino, Violet Coho, Mary A. Coho and Alice Pino.

Pallbearers will be Lyman and Sylvanus Paul, Larry Johnson, Vanvard Paul and Kevin and Jake Coho.

Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.

Edith B. Loretto

GALLUP — Services for Edith B. Loretto, 72, will be announced at a later date.

Loretto died Sept. 24, 2011, in Gallup. She was born Nov. 22, 1938, in Naschitti into the Towering House People Clan for the Sleeping Rock People Clan.

A gathering for family and friends will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at the Naschitti Chapter House.
