Emma Begay

PREWITT — Funeral services for Emma B. Begay, 119, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 13, at the family home in Prewitt. Burial will follow in Grants Memorial Park.

Begay died April 6 in Prewitt. She was born on November 3, 1887 in Mariano Lake.

She was a homemaker and weaver.

Survivors include her daughters, Angela Begay and Velma Delgarito, both of Prewitt and Anita Willeto of Casamero Lake; over 300 grandchildren, great grandchildrn, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.

Begay is preceded in death by her husband, Santiago Begay; parents, Littleman Bodie an Edi Bah Charley Bodie; sons, Wilbert Begay, Herman Begay, Marvin Begay and Freddie Begay; daughters, Jenie Thomas and Beatrice McDonald; sisters, Julia Jake, Esther Newman and Mrs. Vandever.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Loretto, Delbert Begay, Mike Willeto, Eugene Lee, Jeremiah Apachito and Bennie Loretto.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Alberta Johnson

NASCHITTI — Funeral services for Alberta Mae Johnson, 63, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 13, at St. Anthony's Church in Naschitti. Burial will follow in Naschitti Community Cemetary.

Johnson died April 9 in Gallup. She was born August 1, 1943 in Naschitti into the One Who Walks Around Clan for the Towering House Clan.

Survivors include her husband, David F. Johnson of Gallup; sons, Jonathan Johnson and Bartholomew Johnson, both of Naschitti; mother, Imelda Stevens of Gallup; brother, Melvin Stevens of Sanders; sisters, Marie Stevens of Naschitti and Frendona Stevens of Manuelito; 1 grandchild.

Johnson was preceded in death by her father Fred Stevens II.

Pallbearers will be Ambrose Sandoval, Shoney Stevens, Melvin Stevens, Albert Jones Jr., Donovan Ellison and Danny Young.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Naschitti Chapter House.

Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.

Judy Peterson

GALLUP — Services for Judy A. Peterson, 60, will be announced at a later date.

Peterson died April 10 in Gallup. She was born August 21, 1946 in Lakeview Lake, Colo.

Richard Phelps

GRANTS — Services for Richard Frank Phelps, 73, will be announced at a later date.

Phelps died April 11 in Mesa, Ariz. He was born May 25, 1933, in Wisconsin.

Norvella Reynolds

GRANTS — Services for Norvella Reynolds, 87, will be announced at a later date.

Reynolds died April 11 in Grants. She was born February 10, 1920.
