Judy Peterson
GALLUP Graveside services for Judy Peterson,
60, will be at 2 p.m. Monday April 16, at the Resthaven Park Cemetary
in Phoenix.
Visitation will be held April 16, prior to services.
Peterson died April 10 in Gallup. She was born August 21 in Lakeview,
Colo.
Peterson graduated from High School and she worked for Gallup
Police as a dispatcher, Motorola, and in a nursing home.
Survivors include her husband Thomas A. Peterson Jr. of Gallup;
son Thomas A. Peterson, III of Gallup; daughters Misty D. Smith
of Gallup and Sherrie L. Peterson of Farmington; brothers Ricky
Andrews of Phoenix, David Andrews of Phoenix, and Lee Decker of
Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Peterson was preceded indeath by her parents Elbert F. Andrews
and Lola May Andrews; and sister Betty Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Peterson Jr., Thomas Peterson III,
Kenneth Smith, Troy Patterson, David Andrews, Rick Andrews, Josh
Kephart, and Rick Majewski.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 4:00 p.m. at
10036 North 27th Street, Phoenix.

Novella Reynolds
GRANTS Funeral services for Novella I.
Reynolds, 87, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16 at the Grace
Baptist Church in Milan. Burial will follow at Grants Memorial
Park. Pastor Dale Thatcher will officiate.
Reynolds died April 11 in Grants. She was born February 10, 1920
in Mena, Ark.
Reynolds was a homemaker and played the piano for the Grace Baptist
Church for 40 years.
Survivors include her husband, Oris Reynolds of Grants; sons,
Edward Reynolds of Las Cruces, Kenneth Reynolds of Albuquerque,
Larry Reynolds of Albuquerque, and Rick Reynolds of Hobbs; daughters
Irene Burand of Albuquerque and Janelle Reynolds of Portales;
12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Reynolds was preceded in death by her parents, Hamp Cunnningham
and Canary White Cunningham; brothers Paul Cunningham and Raymond
Cunningham; sister Ruby Groober.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
William Mariano
MARIANO LAKE Funeral services for William
H. Mariano, 34, will be at 10 a.m. Monday April 16, at the Mariano
Lake Community Church. Jimmy Etcitty will officiate. Burial will
follow on family land.
Mariano died Thursday, April 12, in Smith Lake. He was born December
5, 1972, in Crownpoint into the Deer Spring Clan for the Towering
House Clan.
Mariano attended Thoreau Middle School and graduated from Thoreau
High School in 1993. His hobbies included softball, watching movies,
football, riding horses, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his parents, Willie H. Mariano and Minnie Mariano;
brothers, Larry R. Peshlakai, Wilson Mariano, Wilsey Mariano ,
and Jerry J. Mariano all from Mariano Lake; sisters, Nancy Casamero,
Janita Mariano, Ann Charley, and De'Lora Tom all from Mariano
Lake.
Mariano was preceded in death by his grandparents Julio J. Charley,
Alice J. Charley, John Jim Mariano, Nellie Jim Mariano.
Pallbearers will be Wilson Mariano, Wilsey Mariano, Jerry H. Mariano,
Randall Platero, Edwin Casamero, and Kennard Bennett.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Mariano Lake
Chapter House.
Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
Richard Phelps
GRANTS Funeral services for Richard Frank
Phelps, 73, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, at St. Teresa
of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Grants Memorial
Park.
Father Alberto Avella will be the celebrant.
Phelps died April 11, in Mesa. He was born May 25, 1933 in Wisconsin.
Phelps was a member of the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church
and Local Toastmasters. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps
as a 1st Merchant Marine during the Korea Conflict. He then served
with the Air Force doing two tours in Vietnam and he worked for
the government. He also worked as the Yard Manager for Diamond
G.
Survivors includeAntionette Abeyta of Mesa, Ariz.; sons, Major
Shean E. Phelps M.D of Sarasota, Florida, Richard Phelps of Albuquerque,
and Daniel Phelps of Grants; daughters, Monique Martinez of Grants,
Carmen Gutierrez of Grants, Adoree A. Russell of Grants, Dr. Teresa
Meehan, PhD., and D'lynn Phelps of Columbus, Ga,; brother Donald
Phelps of Mesa; 19 grandchldren; and one great-grandchild.
Phelps was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Frank Phelps
and Erika Martha Zimmermann-Hiker Phelps; brother Gordon Phelps.
Pallbearers will be Alejandro Martinez, Walter Martinez, III,
Zachery Gutierrez, Michael Gutierrez, Stephen Russell, and Richard
G. Phelps, Julian Watkins.

Guadelupe Walton
WINAMAC, IND. Funeral services for Guadelupe
"Lupe" Walton, 69, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday April
16 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crown Point, Ind. Rev. Patrick
J. Kalich will officiate. Burial will follow at Lawn Memorial
Gardens in Schererville, Ind.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at the Burns Funeral
Home in Crown Point, Ind.
Walton died April 12. She was born in Gallup
Walton mastered many crafts such as stained glass, quilting, embroidering
and crocheting. She enjoyed gardening and watching birds.
Survivors include her husband, Robert "Jerry" Walton;
sons, George Walton of Crown Point, Ind., Jerry Walton of Crown
Piont, Ind., and John Walton of Hobart, Ind.; daughters, Michelle
Cielenski of Downers Grove, Ill. and Regina McWilliams of Tinley
Park, Ill.
Walton was preceded in death by her sister Theresa Rodriguez.
Roselyn Bitsie
MEXICAN SPRINGS Funeral services for
Roselyn Bitsie, 97, will be announced at a later date.
Bitsie died Thursday, April 12, in Mexican Springs. She was born
April 10, 1910 in Mexican Springs into the Salt Clan for the Towering
House Clan.
A family meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Mexican Springs
Chapter House.
