Cecil Irving

PINEDALE — Funeral services for Cecil K. Irving, 52, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at Rollie Mortuary. Pastor Tully H. Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.
Irving died Dec. 4, 2007 in Gallup. He was born April 2, 1955 in Pinedale into the Bed of Canyon People Clan for the Black Streak of the Forest People Clan.

He was an artist, he enjoyed helping family members, he enjoyed being a sheepherder.

Survivors include sons, Christopher Irving of Teec Nos Pos, Ariz.; Casey Morgan, Mariano Lake; daughters, Jennie Irving of Farmington, Eugena Irving of Shiprock; parent, Mike Irving of Gallup; brother, Larry Irving of Thoreau; sisters, Louise R. Grey, Betty Peterson, Lucy Lee, Nancy Lee, Marie Irving, Bessie Silversmith, all of Pinedale; nine grandchildren.

Irving was preceded in death by his mother Esther Irving.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Grey, Jeffery Irving, Jeff Irving, Evans Fransico, Everly Fransico, K.C. Morgan.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Adam Apachito

PINE HILL — Funeral services for Adam Tom Apachito, 44, will be 10 a.m. Dec. 8 at the Pine Hill Nazarene Church, Pine Hill. Burial will be in Ramah Community Cemetery.

Apachito died Dec. 3, 2007 in Albuquerque. He was born April 5, 1963 in rural Zuni into the Apache People Clan for the Salt People Clan.

Apachito was a rancher, mechanic and his hobbies were horseback riding, horse training, riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Apachito; daughters, Roseanna Apachito, Rosecyndia Apachito, Debriana Apachito, Kayitah Apachito; mother, Rose Garcia Apachito; brothers, Diego Apachito, Ernest Apachito, Juan Apachito; sisters, Rosemary Apachito, Rita Eriacho, Judy Apachito, Marcella Allapowa.

Apachito was preceded in death by Julie Apachito.

Pallbearers will be Juan Apachito, Juan Apachito Jr., Terrance Frank, Fidel Apache, Raye Yazzie, Ernest Coho.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Pine Hill Nazarene Church, 4 p.m. Dec. 8, Pine Hill.


Virginia Eaton Ricks

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Funeral services for Virginia Eaton Ricks, 64, was 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 at the Fuller Hale-South Chapel. Rev. Brian Kesterson will officiate. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery.

Ricks died Nov. 18, 2007 in Pine Bluff. She was born Oct. 21, 1943 in Pine Bluff.

Ricks was reared and educated in Pine Bluff and Gallup. She retired in 2004 after 30 years of service at Simmons First National Bank, and was a member of Oak Park Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband, Hubert Ricks of Pine Bluff; sons, James Ricks, Fredrick Taylor, Devin Ricks; daughters, Terri Morris, Sandra Bond, Sandie Grimes, LaRaye Cockrell, Samantha Ricks; brothers, Daniel Eaton of Pine Bluff, formerly of Gallup; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchildren.

Ben Tsosie

CHINLE — Services are pending for Ben T. Tsosie, 78.

Tsosie died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007 in Phoenix. He was born April, 23, 1929 in Chinle into the Charcoal Streak People Clan for the Yucca Fruit People Clan.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
