Jimmie Draper Sr.

CHINLE — Funeral services for Jimmie Draper Sr., 80, will be 10 a.m. Dec. 13 at the North Rim Bible Church, Del Muerto, Ariz.. Ned Scott/Jimmy Etsitty will officiate. Burial will be in Del Muerto.

Draper Sr. was born May 16, 1927 in Chinle into the Red Running Into Water People Clan for the Water Running Together People Clan.

He attended Cook Christian Training School and Phoenix College. He was a pastor at the North Rim Bible Church in Del Muerto.

Survivors include wife, Ruth W. Draper; sons, Jimmie Draper Jr., Nathaniel Draper; daughter, Sandy Reclosado; brother, Howard Draper Sr.; sisters, Rebecca Draper Sekaguaptewa; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Draper was preceded in death by son, Roland Draper; brothers, Philip Sr., Frank and Peter.

Pallbearers will be Nelson Betony, Harold Draper, Howard Draper Jr., John Draper, Pliny Draper; Dustin Reclosado, Micah Reclosado, Mark Richard, Ben Halwood, Marvin Draper.

Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
