Edward Whitesinger III
CHINLE Services for Edward Whitesinger III, 24, will be
10 a.m. Dec. 15 at the Chinle Potters House, Chinle. Burial
will be in Family Land, Chinle.
Whitesinger III died Dec. 6, 2007 in Phoenix. He was born Nov.
04, 1983 in Gallup into the Towering House People Clan for the
Red Bottom People Clan.
Whitesinger III really liked playing basketball, football, boxing
and madden on x-box and liked being around his family and friends.
Survivors include brothers, Eric Whitesinger, Ellison Whitesinger,
Besente J. Gomez; sister, Samantha Gomez; grandparents Kate Dale,
Edward Whitesinger Sr., Irene Whitesinger.
Pallbearers will be Eric Whitesinger, Zach Whiteisnger, Besente
Gomez, Ellison Whitesinger, Edsel Whitesinger, Edmund Whitesinger,
Tracy Begay, Edwin Whiitesinger, Edward Whitesinger II, Irvin
Whitesinger, Joshua Charley.
Mary Ann Martin
IYANBITO Funeral services for Mary Ann Martin, 75, will
be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Rollie Mortuary Pastor Mark
Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery,
Gallup.
Martin died Dec. 11, 2007 in Gallup. She was born Dec. 19, 1931
in Rehoboth into the Gray Streaked-Ends People Clan for the Towering
House People Clan.
Her hobbies included quilting, weaving and taking care of her
children.
Survivors include her sons, Wilfred Martin of Iyanbito, Daniel
Martin of Bismarck, N.D., Clifford Martin of Iyanbito, Bill Martin
Jr. of Fort Wingate; daughters, Dorothy Nelson of Fort Wingate,
Anita Moses of Fort Wingate, Anna Joe of Shiprock, Ella Mae Moses
of Irving Texas, Sarah Beltram of Iyanbito, Linda Martin, Lucy
Murph, Tina Martin, Tammie Martin all of Iyanbito; brother, Herbert
Denny of Sundance; 31 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Martin Sr.,
parents, Oscar and Anna Denny; stepfather, Willie Saunders, sisters,
Virginia Tyler, Katherine Austin and Dorothy Tyler.
Pallbearers will be Victor Beltram, Bill Martin Jr., Wilfred
Martin, Ernie Lee, Clifford Martin, Roy Nelson.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Iyanbito Chapter
at 5 p.m., after services.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Marjorie Hoskie-Dawes
SANDERS Services for Majorie Ann Hoskie-Dawes, 48, will
be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Navajo Assembly of God, Houck.
Pastor Katherine Pierce will officiate. Burial will be in Community
Cemetery, Houck.
Hoskie-Dawes died Dec. 8, 2007 in Ganado. She was born July 4,
1959 in Ganado into the One who Walks Around People Clan for the
Red House People Clan.
She attended Sanders High School and LDS placement in Oakland,
Cali. Hoskie-Dawes worked on a ranch in Wyoming and worked as
a rug weaver. Her hobbies included cooking, beadwork, gardening,
and spending time with family.
Survivors include her sons, Nathan Dawes of Fort Defiance, Tony
Dawes , Adrian Dawes, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughters,
Raynelle Hoskie of Tuba City, Shannon Dawes of Sanders, Tanya
Dawes of Salt Lake City; brothers, Leroy Hoskie, Jasper Hoskie,
both of Salt Lake City, Junior Jones of Manuelito, Bertram of
Phoenix, Jonathan Hoskie, Ferlin Hoskie, Herman Hoskie, all of
White River; sisters, Matilda R. Hoskie, Loretta Cheney, both
of Sanders, Silyvia Riley of White River, Priscilla Todacheenie
of Phoenix, Julia Whipple of Good Year, Katie Whipple of Tucson;
six grandchildren.
Dawes was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Fatty; father,
John Hoskie; sister, Sandra Hernandez.
Pallbearers will be Tony Dawes, Nathan Dawes, Adrian Dawes, Shaun
Hoskie, Bertram Hoskie, Junior Jones.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Assembly
of God Church Hall, Houck, after services.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
