Playing Possum: Gallup Police officers help a man walk along
the foot path between I-40 and the railroad tracks just west of
Third Street in Gallup on Thursday afternoon. Officers initially
responded to the area after receiving a report that the man was
dead, and they set up a crime scene permieter stretching more than
four blocks to prevent any media observation of the scene. Instead
of being dead, the man was simply intoxicated. [Photo by Jeff Jones/Independent]
