Seeking Shelter: Philip Hovel makes his way down Third Street
during another snow storm on Friday afternoon. Hovel is homeless
and was making his way toward a shelter on the north side of Gallup
to get out of the snow. The quick moving winter storm hit Gallup
and the surrounding areas and moved on. Meteorologists are predicting
partly cloudy skies until Tuesday with a very small chance for more

Foster and Adoptive Parent recruiter Patricia Hale points out the
benefits of adopting a child to Erlinda Mulligan on Tuesday evening
at the Children, Youth and Families Department's open house in Gallup.
