Clarence Battle
KENDLETON, Texas Funeral services for
Clarence Henry Battle, 74, were at 12 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at
the Little Zion Baptist Church in Kendleton, Texas. Rev. Richard
Booker officiated. Visitation was from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Little
Zion Baptist Church. Burial was at Powell Point Cemetery.
Battle died Dec. 31 in Albuquerque. He was born March 13,1932
in Kendleton, Texas.
Battle graduated from Powell Point High School in 1950. He later
entered into military service in the U.S. Army. He resided in
Gallup for more than 40 years.
Battle is survived by sons, Norris and Kyle Battle; daughters,
Gisele and Verda Battle of Houston; brothers, James, Harold, Richard,
Alfred and Alvin Battle; sisters, Dorthy Stevens and Barbara Wright;
eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Battle was preceded in death by his parents, James and Freda Battle;
wife, Dorothy; son, Darryl; sister, Ester Mae Jackson.
Pallbearers will be James Battle, Richard Battle, Alvin Battle,
Alfred Battle and Norris Battle.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 13538 Battle
Rd., Beasley, Texas.
Beatrice Racki
GALLUP A rosary mass for Beatrice Racki,
95, will be recited at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at St. Francis
Catholic Church in Gallup. Father Eduardo Espinosa, O.F.M., will
officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
Racki is survived by her sisters, Isabel Cuellar and Bessie Romero,
both of Gallup; three grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and
one great-great grandchild.
Racki was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Racki; husband,
Abel Telles; father, Tim Butamante; mother, Adelaida Bustamante;
son, Abel Telles Sr.; brothers, Eddie Bustamante, Edward Bustamante,
Joe Bustamante, Tim Bustamante; sisters, Ida Montao and Tomasita
Trujillo.
JoAnn Cayaditto
PREWITT, N.M. Funeral services for JoAnn
Cayaditto, 39, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the First
Baptist Church in Thoreau, N.M. Pastor Edward King Sr. will officiate.
Burial will be at the Community Cemetery in Thoreau.
Cayaditto died Thursday, Jan. 4 in Gallup. She was born July 10,
1967 in Gallup into the Water Flows Together People Clan and for
the Folded Arms People Clan.
Cayaditto is survived by her husband, Weeley John Cayaditto of
Prewitt; father, Joe Lee Wylie of Thoreau; mother, Mary Ann Wylie
of Thoreau; daughters, Felecia Jo Cayaditto and Jaylynn Jo Cayaditto,
both of Prewitt; son, John Wesley Cayaditto of Prewitt; sisters,
Theresa Jake, Carolyn Wylie, DiAnn Wylie, Lisa Wylie and Samantha
Wylie, all of Thoreau; brother, Jonathan Wylie of Thoreau; grandmother,
Martha Wylie of Spencer Valley, N.M.
Cayaditto was preceded in death by her grandmother, Anna Larry
Emerson; grandfathers, Wilson Emerson and Lee Wylie; brother,
Joe Lee Wylie Jr.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
