Frank Joe Sr.
REHOBOTH — Services for Frank Joe, Sr.,
86, will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 13, at Cope Memorial Chapel
in Gallup. Pastor Jerry Eastridge will officiate. Burial will
follow at the family plot in Rehoboth.
Joe died Jan. 8 in Phoenix. He was born March 15, 1920 in Rehoboth
into the Towering House People Clan.
Joe worked at various places and enjoyed spending time with his
grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Tom Joe Sr., of Gallup, Leo Joe Sr.,
of Rehohoth; daughters Betty M. Joe of Window Rock; 27 grandchildren
and 50 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary J. Joe; sons David Joe
and Frank Joe.
Pallbearers will be Betty M. Joe, Leo Joe Jr., Johnny Joe, Larry
K. Joe, Tomas Williams, Jason Bahe, Ivan Lee and Mattew Francher.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Sarah and
Leo Joe Sr. home at 34A Sundance Road after services.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Lyle Morris
INDIAN WELLS, Ariz. — Funeral services
for Lyle Morris, 14, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at
Broken Arrow Chapel in Indian Wells. Rev. Larry Hoskie will officiate.
Burial will be on family land in Indian Wells.
Morris died Sunday, Jan. 7, in Winslow, Ariz. He was born on Feb.
19, 1992 in Gallup into the Tangle People Clan and for the Big
Water People Clan.
Morris attended Holbrook Junior High where he was an eighth-grader.
He enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with friends. He loved
to help his grandmother with her chores.
Survivors include his mother Anita Clark; brothers Marciano Morris,
Julian Acunic; sistersRenita, Melissa Morris and grandmother Rita
Clark.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Alma Engels
PHOENIX — Alma F. Engels, 75, died Jan.
7, 2007 in Albuquerque. She was born July 17, 1931 in New York.
Survivors include her daughter Kathleen Sanchez of Gallup and
four grandchildren.

COYOTE CANYON — Services for Mary Rose
"Grandma" Nez, 81, will be announced at a later date.
Nez died Jan. 11. She was born May 6, 1925.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Monte Holyan Jr.
GALLUP — Services for Monte Holyan Jr.,
43, will be announced at a later date.
Holyan died Jan 11 in Phoenix. He was born July 13, 1963 in Gallup.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
