Stella Terry
WIDE RUINS Services for Stella Terry,
61, will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 22 at St. Anne's Catholic
Church in Klagetoh, Ariz. Father Flann O'Neil, OFM, will officiate.
Burial will follow at the community cemetery in Wide Ruins.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Terry died Jan. 18 in Wide Ruins. She was born April 4, 1945 in
Wide Ruins into the Towering House People Clan for the Salt People
Clan.
Terry graduated from Sanders High School in 1965. She was a rug
weaver and wove Wide Ruins, Ganado Red and Two Grey Hills rug
patterns. She enjoyed weaving and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband Lafie Terry of Wide Ruin; sons Marvin
Terry and Darnell Owens Terry, both of Wide Ruins; daughter Jennifer
Lynn Terry of Wide Ruins; brother Leo Chester; sisters Lillie
Chee, Lena Chester, Mary Gordon, Marie Joe, all of Wide Ruins,
Letha C. Wauneka of Fort Defiance; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kee and Mabel Chester;
brothers Fred Chester, Nelson Chester, William Chester and Arkie
Chester, all of Wide Ruins.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

IYANBITO Services for Edward John Duffy,
Sr., 70, will be announced at a later date.
Duffy died Jan. 19 in Albuquerque. He was born Sept. 9, 1936 in
Iyanbito into the Towering House People Clan for the Gray Streak
Ends People Clan.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
