Soroptomist Winners:
The Gallup Soroptomist Club announced the winners of two awards
during their meeting Thursday at PeeWee's Kitchen. Gallup High
School junior Kaitlin Petronovich, left, received the Violet
Richardson Award for her volunteer action in the community,
while Vanessa Nelson was presented the Women's Opportunity Award

Irving Bahe works on a watercolor painting on Friday afternoon
at the Native Hands Co-Op Studio. Irving is getting ready for
the 49th Annual Indian Fair and Market held in Phoenix, Ariz.

to watercolors for this years show instead of using acrylic
