Darrell Jim

TWIN LAKES — Services for Darrell Dean Jim, 30, will be 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 29 at Rollies Mortuary in Gallup. Burial will follow in Gallup.

Jim died Jan. 24 in Gallup. He was born June 2, 1976 in Gallup into the Edge Water People Clan for the Bitterwater People Clan.

Jim attended Twin Lakes Elementary School and Tohatchi High School. He was employed with Cattaneo Construction. His hobbies included fishing, outdoor cooking, playing football, spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include wife, Orlinda L. Jones of Rock Springs; sons, Deandre Jerry Jim, Kalijah Chaze Jim and Nickalos Jordyn Jim, all of Rock Springs; daughter, Jasmine Alicia Jim of Rock Springs; stepfather, Berwyn C. Chino and mother, Marian J. Chino, both of Mescalero, N.M.; brothers, Irvin J. Jim of Twin Lakes, Gerald E. Jim, of Tohatchi, Loren Dale John of Mescalero and Adrian Roland John of Albuquerque; sister, Jerrill Raynette Jim of Twin Lakes; grandparents, Helen Mae James, Richard and Martha Malone.

Jim was preceded in death by father, Jerry E. Jim and grandfather, Frank H. James.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Twin Lakes Chapter House after services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Mary Ganzerla

DURANGO, Colo. — A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Helen Ganzerla, 85, was 10 a.m., today, Jan. 27 at St. Columba Catholic Church in Durango. Father James Koenigsfeld officiated. Cremation occurred at Hood Mortuary in Durango.

A rosary was recited 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26 at Hood Mortuary. Visitation was noon to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at Hood Mortuary.

Ganzerla died Jan. 22 in Durango. She was born Mar. 26, 1921 in Gallup.

Survivors include children, Dina O'Brien of Fort Worth, Texas., Patricia Loe of Irving, Texas., Tony Ganzerla and Lisa Ganzerla of Durango, Colo. and Linda Ferrell of Allison, Colo.; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Ganzerla was preceded in death by her husband, Dino Ganzerla and one grandson.
