Leroy Brown
ST. MICHAELS, Ariz. Services for Leroy
Brown, 60 will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1 at St. Michaels Catholic
Church. Father Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow at Ganado
Cemetery.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today, Jan. 31 at Tse Bonito
Mortuary.
Brown died Jan. 27 in Tucson. He was born April 26, 1946 in Ganado
into the Red House People Clan for the One Walks Around People
Clan.
Brown attended St. Micheals Indian High School, ASU and the University
of Wisconsin. He obtained an architectural degree. He was employed
as a contractor and construction inspector for the Navajo Economic
Development. He was a construction inspector for Karigan Professional
Building, Karigan Child Care Center, Karigan Estates, Pinon Shopping
Center, Navajo Pine Shopping Center, Basha's Shopping Centers,
Antelope Point Marina and many more. His hobbies included hunting,
fishing, skiing, rodeo, camping, outdoorsman, coaching and BMX
racing.
Survivors include sons, Colen Brown of Albuquerque and Vance Brown
of Gallup; daughters, Letha M. Brown of Fort Defiance and Kristin
M. Brown of Gallup; parents, Mary T. Brown of Albuquerque; brothers,
Lester Brown of Albuquerque; sisters, Louella Brown of Window
Rock, Laura Daley, Lorene Brown and Lucinda Brown, all of Albuquerque;
three grandchildren.
Brown was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Brown.
The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Michaels
Mission after services.
Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Blanche Hale
TWIN LAKES Services for Blanche Hale
"Hanesbah", 100, will be announced at a later date.
Hale died Jan. 29 in Gallup. She was born July 3, 1906 in Mexican
Springs.
A family gathering will be 6 p.m. today, Jan. 31 at the Twin Lakes
Chapter House.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
