BREADSPRINGS Funeral services for Darryl
Jim Howard, 35, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5 at Cope Memorial
Chapel. Father O'Keefe will officiate. Burial will follow at Gallup
City Cemetery.
Howard died July 1, 2007 in Breadsprings. He was born February
18, 1972 in Gallup into the Edgewater Clan for the Folded Arms
Clan.
Howard graduated from Gallup High School. He was self-employed.
Howard enjoyed fishing, camping, music, riding horses, watching
his daughters softball games, and being with family and friends.
Survivors include his daughters, Desiri Nicole Howard and Dayna
Rae Howard both of Gallup; parents, Ernest A. Howard and Elaine
R. Ike both of Breadsprings; brothers, Devin P. Howard of Albuquerque
and Layne I. Howard of Breadsprings; sisters, Dusty R. Howard
of Breadsprings; grandparents, Josephine Francisco of Fort Defiance.
Howard was preceded in death by Mabel Lee Ike.
Pallbearers will be Layne Howard, Robert Brown, Troy Watson, Doyle
Owens, Darrell Owens, Philian Kirk, and Marlin Johnson.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Howard's resident
RA #18, South of Gallup following services.

John Tsinajinnie, Sr.
KALGETOH Funeral services for John Tsiniajiniie,
Sr., 88, will be 10 a.m. July 5 at St. Anne's Mission in Klagetoh.
Father Flann O'Neil, OFM, will officiate. Burial will follow at
Klagetoh Cemetery.
Tsinajinnie, Sr. died June 29, 2007 in Fort Defiance. He was born
June 14, 1919 in Klagetoh into the Black Streak Wood Clan for
the Salt Clan.
Tsinajinnie, Sr. completed the seventh grade at St. Michael's
Mission School. He was employed with the railroad, Klagetoh Trading
Post, Navajo Tribe, chapter grazing committee, Sawmill, and T&R.
He participated in various traditional gatherings and enjoyed
hunting and watching football games.
Survivors include his wife, Marie E. Tsinajinnie; sons, Johnson
Tsinajinnie of Kinlichee; Ray Tsinajinnie of Spokane, Wash., and
John Tsinajinnie of Wide Ruins; daughters, Ada Denny of Spokane,
Wash., Edith Lee of Klagetoh, Marilyn Tsinajinnie of Klagetoh,
Marita Van Winkle of Nazlini, and Martha Tsinajinnie of Klagetoh;
sister, Ida B. Tsosie of Klagetoh; 26 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Tsinajinnie, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Belin and
Yilnabah Begay; brothers, Leonard Tsinnijinnie, Dick Tsinijinnie,
and Frank Cinniginnie; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ramon VanWinkle, Lionel Bahe, Charles Corley,
Kacey VanWinkle, Mario Tohee, and Vernon Poleheptewa.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Klagetoh Chapter
House.

Desbah Morgan
FORT DEFIANCE Funeral services for Desbah
D. Morgan, 92, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5 at Our Lady
of Blessed Sacrament in Fort Defiance. Fr. Gilbert Schneider,
OFM, will officiate. Burial will be at Fort Defiance Community
Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Morgan died July 1, 2007 in Fort Defiance. She was born December
18, 1914 in Dilkon, Ariz. into the Edgewater Clan for the Big
Water Clan.
Morgan attended Leupp and Fort Wingate Boarding School. She was
employed with Window Rock School District, Senior Citizens Center,
and Foster Grandparents programs. Morgan was a member of the Native
American Church. Her hobbies include attending pow wows and gourd
dancing.
Survivors include her sons, Wilbert L. Morgan, Clifford G. Morgan,
Stanley E. Morgan, all of Fort Defiance, Anthony D. Morgan of
Los Aneles, Calif., William Morgan, Jr. of Window Rock, Russel
H. Morgan of Kirkland; daughters, Maxine M. Bahe, Delphine M.
Kewanwytewa both of Fort Defiance, and Cynthia M. Morgan of Pine
Hill; 19 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Morgan was preceded in death by her husband, William Morgan, Sr.,
daughter, Dorothea M. Johnson; parents; and one grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members.

Harrison Morris
NASCHITTI Funeral services for Harrison
Jim Morris, 70, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5 at St. Mary
Catholic Church in Tohatchi. Burial will follow at Naschitti Cemetery.
Morris died June 30, 2007. He was born January 1, 1937 into the
Edge of Water Clan for the Towering House Clan.
Morris attended Sherman Institute in Riverside, Calif. where he
was awarded for painting. His hobbies included watching wrestling
and western movies and having cook outs with family and friends.
Morris was a rancher and a well known medicine man.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Norton Morris of Tohatchi; sons,
Johnny Morris of Naschitti, Mervin Harvey of Navajo, NM, and Garrison
Morris of Sheep Springs; daughters, Christine Morris of Naschitti,
Hazel Watchman of Sheep Springs, Treston Morris of Sheep Springs,
Charity Morris of Sheep Springs, Arlene Stevens of Naschitti,
Lanushi Morris of Sheep Springs, Josetta Stevens of Gallup, and
Charmayne Martinez; William Morris of Coyote Canyon; sisters,
Mary Foster of Naschitti, Lorena Smith of Tohlakai, and Grace
Toledo of Naschitti; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Anita Begay
Morris; brother, Joseph Morris; grandparents, Tsenahabilnii Nez
and Tadeezbaa.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Watchman, Daniel Lewis, Freddie Barber,
Porter Rio Smith, Jimmy Lewis, and Reggie Keeswood.
Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.

SMITH LAKE Services for Reverend Harry

House, Sr. died June 30, 2007 in Albuquerque. He was born August
28, 1934 in Rehoboth into the Two Who Came for Water Clan for
the Bitter Water Clan.

GALLUP Funeral services for Crystal Lynn
Fierro, 25, will be announced at a later date.
Fierro died June 30, 2007 in Cibola County. She was born February
15, 1982 in Gallup into the Water's Edge Clan.
A viewing will be from 12 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 5 at Rollie
Mortuary.
